They can't even get the relegation  bit in the transition season right

Surely at least have a play off between bottom of championship and the team that comes third in division 1. There needs to be a threat of relegation from the league.

Im sure the season the spl went to 10-12 teams there wasn’t relegation or am I wrong?

They know if Queens go down with Falkirk it’s bad news for the tv deal and crowds. 12 teams makes perfect sense.
Do we want to see a Championship with Alloa, Arbroath and Montrose next season?
Yes.

So long as there are NO COLTS anywhere in the mix, I can live with what they come up with.

If two or three part time Clubs are up and then automatically stay up for the 2020/21 season then that would obviously be an added benefit to Ayr. Can't see how 44 league games could possibly work with three other National Cups, but that is detail.

I remember last time it was touted to split the top two leagues into 3 leagues of 8 come the end of the season. 3 rounds against the other 11 then 7 in the split makes it down to 40.

Yes.

Arbroath vs Montrose will be box office viewing on BBC Scotland.

Yes because they would deserve to be in the Championship. Falkirk have been utter shite and do not.

If Montrose win the play offs then all 3 will be in the league on merit so yes, I'd absolutely want to see them in the championship next season.

I take it you cant read, as the restructure proposed wouldnt come into force until 2020/21.

You'll be a seaside league team next no matter what.

Well that didn't take long, the tired straw man about ostensibly unappealing TV fixtures.

1) The BBC are under no obligation to pick such a fixture;
2) But in any case, some of the best televised games from the lower leagues have been the ones between the supposedly smaller teams;
3) Why is this of concern to a Falkirk fan anyway?

As others have said, changing the entire league structure to facilitate adding in colt teams from the arse cheeks would be an absolute farce.

I dont even get the supposed benefits for a start. A fair amount of pro players playing throught Scotland or abroad have played at the arse cheeks until they are released at 18 or 19. Those players then go to other clubs and make a decent career for themselves. All that would happen with colt teams is that players would hang around the arse cheeks for longer and reduce their chances of a decent career. Never mind reducing the quality of other teams as a consequence.

Get the idea so far to f*ck.

This is the list of average number of away fans the Dutch Championship sides bring on their travels;

To put that into perspective, Ajax sells 0.9 percent of their away ticket allocation - PSV sell 1.7 percent - and that's with our country being as small as it is. So yeah, enjoy all 10 or so Premiership fans the Colts will bring to a rainy Tuesday night fixture at Tannadice.

Why not half the problem with Scottish football is teams like Falkirk and Raith think they have a right to be in the higher leagues because they are "big clubs" that's a dig at owners and boards btw not fans, no one can say Alloa don't deserve to stay up this season and Arbroath have been outstanding in league one.

1. Yes it would

2. The prospect of Dundee derbies will more than make up for the loss of Falkirk rattling around half a stadium against Queen of the South but thanks for playing.
