The Shire were able to raid Camelon to put a strong LL quality squad together in their first season down. Not so easy to find the answers locally for Berwick. Will be interesting to see how Berwick get on recruiting players from in and around Edinburgh when they are at the same level as Spartans, CSS, Kelty and possibly Bonnyrigg Rose

taking davie grant isn't raiding camelon ...

To be fair, Derek Ure, Ian Ure and Jamie Glasgow were returning to Shire, having been with us before going to Camelon.

State of this mob.

"While £12 seemed excessive in terms of the cost at other grounds its worth remembering they don't have the history of support we have "

Imagine there’s gonna be a lot of ‘committee’ members travelling with other teams

Well as long as they have their committee cards with them. Kelty chairman who has been at the club over forty years forgot his when we played BSC at Alloa if I remember right, sure he had to pay to get in.

The way I understand it about 20 of Keltys committee turned up with their home made committee cards as the Chairman who was enjoying a cuppa in the boardroom had their official cards in his pocket.

How funny are Berwick pretending they’re a big team. A bunch of nobodies that will be East of Scotland in a few seasons
