HIT THE CHANNEL
Think I will take advantage of the subsidised travel for the Saturday (providing we don’t get skelped 0-3 with Nesbit breaking his leg). I saw the website was advertising that you could purchase tickets before kick off tomorrow... I assume they will be on sale from Wednesday onwards too? A couple of questions for those who used it for the hibs game. 1) Can you bring ‘soft drinks’ on the bus? 2) Do you have the same seat on the way back I.e could you leave some of your ‘soft drinks’ on the bus in case you are dehydrated for the return leg and require another bottle of fruit shoot?

Perhaps someone can confirm this... best pub for a midway point between the station and the ground is the novar (although it may be rammed). Depends how much time you’ve got, but the other closest options are the duchess and penny farthing.

Loondave1
I certainly won't play down our chances....but then your mob will come away with the big time Charlie ball Ox. In reality we should not in any way be nervous or running scared of playing Forfar....no effing way. We should beat you home and away.....but we wont. I do believe we will win on aggregate and go through but we have been rotten and you are the form team in the league...simples really. No big time rubbish just facts. Roughly my thoughts how it is poised.
Loondave1
I think folk are being realistic on form and our rank rotten record in the playoff. FT outfit hasn't done us any favours over the course of the season - we finished below you. However - Tuesday night, at home - several of the Forfar players will have put in a shift at work during the day, and this is where we should - "SHOULD" - make our FT status count. We've been poor up at your place the past few seasons so should be looking to take a goal or two advantage into the weekend. Easier said than done! Correct.

tbsouth
We must defend better than the 1st 30 minutes on Saturday or the tie will be over. Would take a 1 goal defeat right now!!

foreverarover
Obviously not. I will be quite happy to have the tie alive for Sat even just to get a big gate and the cash that goes with it on Sat.The gate money is shared between all 4 clubs so that is irrelevant.
Kwaka Mal
The gate money is shared between all 4 clubs so that is irrelevant. Rule I24 states that (for League 1):- the entire gate receipts for league matches and playoff matches are retained by the home club. No sharing. It appears to be a different set-up for the Premier/Championship playoffs.

Kwaka Mal
This is the Championship playoff.By Championship playoff I think it means Championship to Premiership, not to get into the Championship. That's how it appears to me anyway. Could be wrong, frequently am.
