Snifter Pee Rot
Sevco should also get a guard of honour for breaking the penalty world record. Clapped on by Brother's Dallas, Muir, Robertson, Beaton and Madden.

Flybhoy
Will the **** appeal McGregor's red card to delay his suspension for this game, in the knowledge it will mean an extra game for a spurious appeal? Probably, knowing that lot, some of the appeals against some blatant red cards this season, especially for Morelos have been ridiculous.
The OP
I’m not even being funny here, A. McGregor seems mentally ill. I actually said on whatsapp yesterday (on a debate about whether you’d put any of their players in the Celtic first XI) he’s an utter liability right now and it’s a matter of time before he gets sent off. Gutted I never bet on it. They’re better off without him and I’m glad the injury risk to our players for the one remaining meaningful game is reduced.

Depends what you are measuring as well as 3 of our penalties have been in the Europa League.

The appeals process has really encouraged this kind of chicanery, and every club is at it as though there's some kind of tactical nous behind it. Greg Stewart was cited for a diving headbutt against Accies earlier in the season and there was a discussion had among supporters about which of the three following games we'd prefer him to miss! The league have to fast-track these appeals now so that they're completed before the next fixture, take this nonsense out the equation entirely.

wastecoatwilly
There is no way 22 players will stay on the pitch for 90 minutes or just a end of season dead rubber?
TheCelt67
Can see rangers winning this by a goal or two. We'll have one eye on the cup final and I can see Lennon making some changes to the team.
LordHawHaw
The rangers will be up for it, they will want a result against the champions, where as we'll be trying to make sure rangers indiscipline does not cause harm to any of our players.

The OP
Hopefully Rangers win the first half or the first 30mins of the second half like they have in the past and Celtic win the match again. Definitely don’t want a repeat of the two most convincing wins ever where they won 1-0 or drew 2-2 and won on penalties. It might give them misplaced confidence for next season.
Templar
I am speaking as a neutral. In all walks of life an enemy is an enemy and they should never be honoured, especially in defeat. Someone said Gerrard should allow it. Why to humiliate his players for being losers. The war between the both teams will continue next season. It is not compulsory for any club to provide a guard of honour if they face the newly crowned League champions but it is a ceremony agreed between the two clubs beforehand. Players may be reluctant, but they cannot be forced to do it by any footballing authorities. Now there is a dilemma for some.
