McKinnon Must Go

It's only natural though that when the team is shite you have to consider if what you are paying for is actually worth it. I commend you for sticking with the team but I understand folk not parting with their cash out of protest.

Loads of our fans did it under Mark Roberts. I wouldn't say they're shite fans.

You follow the team, good bad or indifferent. Go, pay your money. Get behind your team. We are the core. We support all decisions made. We don't all agree, but my point, is the stronger fans as I'll put it take the punishment of defeat again and again. The rest walk away and imo are not as good. They may want the team to win the same, but walk away at hard times. Easy to support Celtic, harder to support Fort William

Lads lads and everybody. Sorry, no you haven’t. The good posters have done fine work, but I am afraid you have got a bit of a brass neck with the “we” patter as you played no part in any of it. Sorry, but it’s true.

Plot = lost

“Pay your money”

This is all well and good but why should fans waste their money if there’s nothing on the park to show for it? Some people might find there’s better things to spend their money on.

Perhaps you would walk away easier than I could

What I did mean though is I do not hide when things get tough. Too many disappear, by deliberately choose not to go, with no alternative plans. I have family and work commitments, neither which I hide from

I’ve got a season ticket for the main stand but rarely use it, instead paying full whack to sit in the South Stand with friends.
Does that make me a more committed fan than you?
Total shite....

Presumably it makes you richer as a starting point.

Why not just have a season ticket for the South stand?

I wouldn't say it makes you a more or less a committed fan, but I would say that is a particularly odd thing to do -  if you have a season ticket why not just use it? Surely you are going to watch the game, can you not socialise with your mates before and after the game. Everyone to their own - but I find it odd that you would pay for a seat that you don't want to sit in? Having said that that, you are giving the club more money, but you could just donate money, or pay for a mate to go, increasing the crowd that Falkirk fans seem to be so proud of.

Anyway, it's good that you watch your local team, I've done it myself for years, but I've never bought into the whole I'm a better fan than you sh1te.

Hope you enjoy next season.

Houston or Goodwin

I think Houston could be a good bet, but think Goodwin is destined for greater things?

If (as Ive previously said) the Falkirk BOD have a get out clause with McKinnon or can afford to pay him off?

That’s my point, I’m no more committed than anyone else and you see that when you see how emotive we all get when watching the game.
Really it’s as simple as I’ve a really decent seat in the main stand that I’ve had for years and enjoy spending time chatting to the supporters around me who also renew in the same place each year.
However, half the time I’ll go with friends and it’s only free seating in the South Stand, so it’s easier just to pay my way in with the rest and I don’t mind as I know the extra cash is going to the club.
However unless Lang and Co are gone I won’t be renewing next season nor contributing to the upcoming share issue...

This has probably been covered umpteen times but how have Falkirk ended up in this position? They've always been at the other end of the table all these years. Where did it go wrong?

Incompetent chairman, useless board and utter charlatans like Hartley and McKinnon in the dugout.  Add a team of no or little ability and you have a recipe for disaster and failure along with a dose of misery.

At least their board did not try to chase a futile takeover of an A-League club like bald snake Stephen Thompson did with Newcastle Jets when things was falling apart at United.

You missed out a team of shysters, who downed tools on Houston, with the aim of getting their pals the gig.

Hate all this “I’m a better fan because I go to all the games” pish.
Like I said, hes an alias. Dont waste your time. His previous mewling push in my direction has included "meeting up for a chat". If hes not an alias, then he takes the internet a bit too seriously.
