That's because over 90% were originally yes and are still yes. Around half of the remaining 10% who were naw are now yes.

Right enough.  Well if around half the No voters from 2014 have switched to Yes the result's a formality.

Not sure it's that straightforward though

Why do you think disenfranchisement would be good for yes?

They voted 65/35 against last time. Something like 236,000 other EU citizens in Scotland. So 153,000 No voters abd 83,000 Yes voters. Either we get all of those 153,000 this time or none of them vote leaving us better off by a net 70,000 over last time.

Fairly backwards looking analysis obviously.

Nicola Sturgeon telling STV news she thinks the vote will happen in the 2nd half of 2020.

The referendum was called 18 months ahead of time last time around, so we could be looking at a Section 30 request very soon if that's the aim.

Albeit they could go for a shorter campaign.

Won't make a blind bit of difference. Spoke to many of them. So many are purely colonial b*****ds with a sense of English entitlement over Scotland who wouldn't hesitate to have Holyrood abolished at the first opportunity.

We should prevent them from voting, just as the UK Government did with EU nationals in the UK independence referendum. Then we'll see what "Scots" truly think.

In Quebec you had to have lived there for fifteen years to vote.  You can have a green card for thirty years in America and not get to  vote in their elections.  We should introduce a residency requirement of ten years.  It's just not fair that you could but a house in Scotland then vote to deny it self determination three months later.

Or have the voting age starting at 16. But have anybody who moves to Scotland starting at 0.

Should we ban English people from being able to Buy or Rent property?

There should be a cap on how many properties they can buy or rent if they're not a resident of Scotland. In other words, if they're living south of the border, they shouldn't be allowed to buy up or rent out multiple properties in Scotland, unless they actually live here themselves.

Is it time to electronically tag No voters ?

Loads of English born have lived here for longer than 16 years, all it would accomplish is alienating those who are coming round to the idea. And it would be illegal so it's not going to happen.

That is absolutely the intention of the British government.

I would like to think that, if true, it will be seriously challenged by the Scottish Government.

Also wondering if all ten of those who have indicated they will vote No on the poll on this thread will be happy to see Boris as our next Prime Minister?

Me too but that's definitely something they will try to.do.  After insisting they got to vote last time.
