Thank you to all those who have purchased tickets, last night we sold out the VIP: Meet and Greet Tickets.

Standard tickets are selling nicely and its shaping up to be a great night with lots of stories of the Euro 96 and World Cup 1998 campaigns as told by Colin.

There will also be lots of great prizes up for grabs on the night to be won

Not at liberty to say.

Night is a fundraiser, and this year we have 3 donations with the men's team and one at the Women World Cup (plus 2 last month), so that is 6 donations this year alone, and nights like this one (and given the sales so far, we are certainly considering others across the country with other former Scotland players) allow us to continue what we do at every game

Shaping up to be a good night, with plenty of prizes to be won, including Steven Naismith's signed match worn Scotland shirt from the Portugal friendly  last year (kindly donated to the Sunshine Appeal by Steven himself).

Having just completed our 73rd consecutive donation at the Belgium match, followed a week later with our 74th at the Woman's World Cup in Paris, its nights like these which help us keep going forward, with all money from the night will be going directly to all future donations (with Russia and Cyprus to be announced over the summer).

On the day after the game in Belgium, we received this Facebook Message from Sun, which we have been given permission to share publicly.

We think it nails both why the Sunshine Appeal does what it does and just as importantly, the impact donations make not just on the day but well beyond it.

Sun
A few years ago, when our son was still, like all the time, in the hospital, uz brussel, for his cancer treatment you guys came by. Also loaded with tickets for the game, gifts and smiles and sunshine. He and his little friend Yannis, also cancer, have such fond memories of the moments you gave them. And now you were in our hospital yet again showing your good hearts and wonderful natures, making really sick kids happy. So we want to thank you for being who you are and spreading joy and happy memories. Sadly our sons friend Yannis past away last week, but the good and happy memories stay with us. And a few of those memories you guys created. So thank you from the bottom of all of our hearts for everything 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 ❤️

Thanks to everyone who showed up on Saturday night, the event added just over £700 to help fund future donations 👍

Thought night was great, and Colin was on great form (Craig Brown and Stuart McCall stories from Euro 96 are probably the funniest thing I ever heard 😂 and Craig Brown at h/t of the Norway match at WC98 was superb!).

Photos from the night are here to see,
