HT 0-0

Bout right really, neither team did enough to be ahead.

St J had best chance when they broke through, finish wide though. We then hit the post with one of those over hit crossed free kicks.

Bit disappointed with us. Feel like we should be doing more at home against a team that’s on the beach when we have so much to play for, especially with Accies winning.

Big second half coming up.

I think we've looked pretty up for it, plenty of players in there who are trying to play their way into the team, so the performance shouldn't dip.

Would imagine St Mirren might try and press up further now Hamilton are winning though.

Ball out the park, St Mirren defender shoves Saints attacker over the hoarding.
Wry smile from ref.
Bouncing ball in the middle of the park, both players go in with high feet, St Mirren free kick and ref charges over and starts wagging his finger at Saints player.
Mental.
Dry yer eyes

Saints much better in terms of possession, st Mirren the far better chances, both on the counter and especially from set pieces.

We are fine on the ball but struggling to create much other than Muzz bulldozing thru and putting it off the outside of the post.

That free kick that everyone missed and Zander left for it to bounce back off the post.. !!

Ref has had a truly terrible game however you’ve picked an equally terrible instance to try demonstrate it. The boy slipped as both players were going for it. St Mirren defender hurdled the advertising hoardings, St Johnstone player went nowhere near over it.
The free kicks for one player kicking another’s foot is pretty baffling however so is any time we have a corner and a free kick gets awarded for players going for a header.

St Mirren player didn't even leave the pitch

Either way, ref should've had the rest of the season off after Steve Clarke took a wee huff and savaged him, hes clearly not acting on instinct.

Subs from both sides.

Baird off, Magennis on.

Callachan off, Wotherspoon on.

Take it that a change of shape for St Mirren?

St Johnstone are a bunch of diving b*****ds.

Davidson and Kennedy the two main culprits

Particularly enjoyed Kennedy slipping there, ref blowing his whistle and the whole stadium, including the players, suffering a cranial detachment, before it sinks in hes given you a throw in

Heads gone all over the place here. It's not even been a dirty game.

Pressure is a funny thing.

Absolute NAP one of your players makes a monumental f**k up now.

St Mirren player crumples with a career threatening injury, writhing in agony as his team mates chase officials demanding appropriate punishment.

Ref plays on and hes up within seconds, with a slight limp that's gone by the times hes off the pitch

Shambolic from St Mirren, opened up chasing a goal they didn't actually need, and left Kane alone in the box.

Their own fault.

FT 1-1

Yeah about right.

St Johnstone - despite having nothing to play for - well worth their point. Their goal on the counter was well taken.

Looked like was fading out to yet another home loss, then Mullen pinged a volley in the top corner from nowhere from 20 yards. Some strike.

Point is a point but not good enough really. Right good chance to make up ground on Accies today missed.

Dundee are finished though, good.
Need something in Motherwell next week.
