He can speak to anyone he wants. I'm not sure why you think he'd be getting a pay-off.

People who are sacked aren't put on gardening leave. That would be illegal.

He can't be both sacked and under contract.

His record at Hibs, Hartlepool and Raith says he is a donkey.

Hibs he started well until Petrie sold Stokes to Celtic. He did lose it somewhat at Hibs, way too loyal to some players like Colin Nish that were never good enough but the rot at Hibs was set in before Hughes arrived. At Hartlepool he went into a club rooted at the bottom of their league, same with Raith in that short spell. Still managed wins.

His overall win record at 40% is way higher than the shite you've been watching for long enough.  That record was mostly achieved with Falkirk and ICT in the SP.L. Donkey my fecking arse.

Simple question, do you want him back at Easter Road?

McIntyre did a job at Dunfermline and Ross County, in the year dot, his record was good. Swap the names about for Hughes, Falkirk and ICF. Hughes is finished, he comes across terribly, cant construct a sentence, always looks back to a decade ago, he would literally be the worst appointment possible IMO.

Hughes had a better win record at ICT and Falkirk than McIntyre at Ross County (41.3%) and he did it over several seasons, 404 leagues games.  McIntyre was sacked at Ross County, Hughes left Falkirk and ICT under his own steam.

I wouldn't have him back at Hibs, although as I said the rot had set in at Easter Road before he arrived and continued long after he left.

No way will Miller get the job full time.

"Nelms is understood to have told Keyes that Miller is now the man for the job"

Funny that, he was telling Keyes that McIntyre was the man for the job 4 days ago apparently.
