Gaming Systems

Reading through the Games You’ve Never Played thread, I realised the amount of classic games I’ve missed purely because I never owned a Nintendo.

That then got me thinking of the machines I have used. Here’s a list, and I’m giving my age away with some of these......

Atari 2600

ZX Spectrum+

Sega Megadrive

Sega Game Gear

Commodore Amiga

PlayStation

PS 2

Xbox

Xbox360

PS3

PS4

What did I miss out on??

One system I have not seen mentioned yet is the Amiga CD32 - we got it for Christmas one year - fairly sure it was only out for a couple of years then they stopped making games for it as Commodore went bust.

Just read on Wiki they only sold 100,000 in Europe. Games I remember were Diggers, Pirates! Gold and, of course, Sensible Soccer.

Might have to have a look in the folks' attic when I am next home to see if it is still there.

What was the c64c??

Cleaning out attic found a fully boxed c64c, immaculate condition, no idea how I got it,  reckon it was from old neighbours who immigrated to Australia early 90s is about all I can think of.

The original C64 had dark brown keys like this

While the C64c, which came out later, looked like this

and had slightly upgraded specs
