Bring Your Own Socks
Well we've had a fine spell against the also-rans and had the benefit of a bit of squad rotation and some rest days for a few. Our earlier slump has bought time to integrate several youth players and it'll be interesting to see what blend of wisdom and adventure the gaffer whisks up this week. We definitely are due a result against Annan who's main attribute seems to be physique. Let's hope the ball players have their day this time. A clear win here and we'll be having some kind of influence on this league, one way or another. 2-0 to the QP.
williebraveheart
Magee back in is the only change I would make. See it as a close 2-1.

Would like to point out in defence of the team who's main attribute seems to be physique that Annan are actually the top scorers in division. Write us off at your peril!!!! your peril
an86
Annan are a good side, but we're playing with confidence. Go with the same attitude and see where it takes us

Write us off at your peril!!!! your peril That's a very fair point and indeed sounds perilous. In the spirit of fair play though I'm obliged to highlight you have the worst defensive record of the top 4, and only 2 goals better than QP. 32 of your impressive goals-for has been at Galabank, just 23 on the road. And not any yet at Hampden. By contrast, our goals-against at Hampden is third best in the league. Besides, now you're in the play-offs you'll be wanting to rest at least 6-7 regulars, won't you? Solway Star
Take your point but..... the feeling at Annan is to keep the momentum going! see you Saturday!!!
Bring Your Own Socks
Buzzing for this. Probably the best match in the division today. I’d settle happily for a one goal advantage. Mon the Hoops!

Hampden Diehard
Pretty dreadful. That is all.
williebraveheart
Pretty poor. Second best to every ball. Nobody, except Summers, was really bad and Galt tried his heart out but we allowed ourselves to be outmuscled off our game by a competent team who resembled Connaghs Quay in some ways. Referee should have spotted more of the niggling.

Bulstrode
Poorest away support at Hampden this season. No surprise there. Annan are always keen to get to the play-offs for the reason of gaining extra revenue but won't make the next step since like Gretna and Edinburgh City they have no support. A glorified village outfit. Brechin or Stenny will beat them over two legs.
Bring Your Own Socks
Fair play to Annan. Defo the ugliest football in the league with their diving, rolling and petty fouling. But they made something out of nothing 3 times in the second. We had much more efforts toward their goal and troubled the keeper once. Have to say the Annan coach out-manoeuvred Roberts today. Taking two wing backs out for some sloppy play seemed to be the turning point.
The man with no name
We were poor today. Annan won easily without too much effort. I wish them all the best in the play-offs.
++Ammo - Airdrie++
I take it that was an absolute canter for annan today?

QP had all the good stuff in the first. But like our first game at Annan, their boys know how to finish. We've had a good run so it was a bit disappointing. Goals win games, wins points, wins prizes. Reset and go again next week.
