2019 Scottish Cup Final - Heart of Midlothian v Celtic

I've quite liked Edward's hustle, tbh - he can't do much with the ball, but we won't have much of it anyway - we'll need players to press, and Edwards has loads of energy.

Lee is fucked for the final, and Clare is a ghost - Edwards has a chance of starting the final - Bozanic is a similar player in that he's busy and doesn't hide - he gets on the ball more than Edwards, but doesn't do a lot with it - Bozanic often takes set pieces as well, mind.

I expect that will be Levein's thinking too. Cowie was shite with the ball but he was put up the pitch in the 4 - 0 game to chase down Celtic's defenders and it worked.

I've got a couple of comps so I will take my boy to his first final.  Not going to tell him until morning of the game.

Poor lad.

That’s what happened when we played Rangers after their 8th in a row

But we bounced back from that

It feels like the exact opposite of going into the Gretna final

I'll take it going to penalties on Saturday.

Expectations are so low that we can't be disappointed but an upset would be epic.

I imagine this would be how Celtic and Rangers of old felt going into a cup final  against the "diddies" (the way we did against Gretna). Hoping for an upset but Celtic will need to be below par and we need to be on top form.

For Celtic I'd pick

Bain

Toljan Simunovic Ajer Tierney

Ntcham McGregor

Forrest Rogic Johnston

Edouard

Will never happen though as Lennon is defo playing Lustig, Brown and Sinclair despite them all having been shite for months.
