At the end of the day they are only proposals at this moment in time.
Feck knows how this thread would go if they were actually voted in by the clubs

If it gets confirmed Old JB and BM will be on meltdown.

Is BM not on permanent meltdown on here?

Now here's a thing. Is there not a rule in the constitution that a rule introduced at one AGM cannot be voted on again for two years ?

Consequently the league set-up which started this season needs to stay in place for next season under the rules of the West Region ?

League format cannot be changed for next season as per constitution but ppssible changes for subsequent seasons can be considered.
That's what I thought.

But at least it gives some time to think about it instead of the disastrous proposal that is being attempted to be rushed through just now.

Any change however for season 20/21 would have to be considered at this year's AGM as promotion/relegation could be affected and therefore Clubs would have to be aware of such implications might have on season 19/20.

That's what I was thinking - then I decided with myself I was getting confused with SPFL. But there will be a vague rule that they can change any rule in exceptional circumstances.

You're right about the rule, but these proposals don't fall foul of it, as they do not concern League Reconstruction (4 x 16 with one missing plus 3 up & down is unaffected)  - only the pattern of fixtures, which was not voted on last year.

Fair point.

total joke   .    question was asked before this season started

now mid april and still no answer to what may happen if  clydebank leave on their own

or west leave en bloc

maybe we can ask for an extension ( half way through next season would seem appropriate )

Another year set back? Nah not acceptable.

The club's need to agree something so if

Early start

League split

Years delay

are all not fancied then we could be in the deep brown stuff unless somebody can pull a rabbit out the hat.

Years delay seem the sensible shout this late in the season.

Years delay shows that the sjfa is not fit to lead the junior clubs into the pyramid, have had a year to sort this and the shower of clowns haven’t been able to compromise. Now need leadership.
