Dirty Arab 83
Baffling? Baffling? He finally starts 4-4-2 and leaves Safranko and Clark on the bench. It beggars belief, Safranko got Neilson out of jail tonight. Some might say an inspired impact substitution [emoji1]
stewartyftd1
I think once we put the foot on the gas we looked a level above Ayr United in the second half. Sure we will dispatch them and ICT in the playoffs.

At this level, if you have a trustworthy keeper you’re well ahead of most teams. Dundee United don’t even have one. He looks like he’ll have a more than solid career. Trust me, i’d bite your hand off to swap keepers with you.
jm86
Lochwood, what is your beef regarding Doohan? Goalies make mistakes like every other player. Tend to lead to goals unfortunately, so noticed more. But 3 in a whole season is hardly the sign of a poor keeper. Reckon he's the best we've had in recent years. Game changed when we moved Murdoch wide right. We need him in midfield. Why does McCall keep doing this. Same as his penchant for taking Moff off. Even when having a poor game he is still more likely to create something than most of the rest. Not looking forward to 2 games against ict, specially with Shankland still misfiring. Might not get to playoffs of course if Dunfermline win their last 4 games (unlikely and we lose our last 4 (also unlikely as 2 are v Partick)

Both teams struggled for quality over the 90, 11th place nothing to fear.

jm86
Stewartyftd1 what a complacent and condescending remark. If your management team have the same attitude, no wonder your making a bit of a pig's ear of this season., given your resources. You could easily have been two down before"putting your foot on the gas". This led to 1 goal basically. The 2nd was a gift, nothing to do with good play by your lot. But clearly 9-2 in our favour over 4 games puts you on a different level to us. right enough.

munro7
He’s literally one clean sheet away from equaling the club record for most clean sheets in a season. He’s had some absolutely brilliant performances and in the 3-2 game in Dingwall he stopped it from being a battering. He’s made 3 big errors that have resulted in goals. A spilled save vs Falkirk and letting a cross go right over his head vs Falkirk and the mistake tonight. Any Ayr fan will tell you our weak spot last season was between the sticks. If we had Doohan last season we’d have won the league by 15 points at least. I still think he was horribly at fault for County’s first in that game (particularly when he ‘s actually very good at coming for high balls)but if he was faultless we wouldn’t have him and, as you say, he’s been a massive upgrade on last season.
