Was just about to post the same. Not impressed.

Exactly Sunday afternoons are for watching the open not the masters

What do people feel about peter alliss these days , I know he is old school but because there isn’t much live golf these days , just feels a bit traditional when you hear him.

88 now so probably the last of the old school still around
Should have been put out to grass a few years ago. Alex Hay knew when to chuck it, but I get the feeling that Alliss will keep going until he drops. I did like the one on this clip though.

Glad someone remembers the excellent Alex Hay. He was a superb commentator. Aliss and Hay did the commentary on PGA European Tour Golf on the Playstation which was good fun.

I only put a couple of quid on each way on two golfers - Molinari and Shauffle - so one of those to win please. If not one of those then I'm not that fussed tbh. Find it hard to get into the golf now I don't have a Sky Sports subscription; the Masters was always something I'd watch when all four days were on the BBC (and when ScreenSport used to show it too - their coverage was the BBC feed but seemed to go on longer on Thursday and Friday so you'd still be able to watch it live when Steve Ryder was telling everyone the BBC coverage was ending as they were at the end of their satellite time).

Still feel the woods win the last year in the tour championship was an one off Indian summer type win.

Can’t see him winning majors anymore

Said the same at the time, it was a great win for him but it was a field of 30 on a course he likes. I just feel that in the majors with a full size field there will always be a few players at least a couple of shots better than him.

Agree with some of the comments about Woods. I just can't see him as a major winner again. He's done great to get to where he is and I expect him to rack up a fair few top 10 but no more than that.

Am I missing something here?

Am I the only person on here who thinks Woods might just win this event?
