I understood the limitation on hitting that number was simply down to the poorly located police box and hence some tickets cant be sold?

IMO they should have put the polis box in between the new stand and the Roseburn so the bams can throw smoke bombs and buckie at plod for a change.

The only source for that seems to be an Edinburgh Evening News article from before the old stand was demolished. Then all the other relevant websites take their info from wikipedia as gospel - don't think Hearts have ever actually released the official capacity themselves. All we know is that the biggest attendance there so far has been 19,429. Not that it matters like - it's feasible there'd be 600+ unused seats behind the police box, no-shows and folk arrested for glassing old grannies pre match.

Ah, the old "whose fans are biggest c***s" shitfest. It's almost as if  clicking on a Celtic v Rangers* thread.

We’ve not had a attendance w**k chart yet.

Not sure which would be better. Winning this, or letting Hearts scrape an eye bleedingly awful 1-0, keeping Leveins "natural order" master plan going for many more months.

Talking of which, crap crowd last night - the official attendance was 16588.

STs are counted even if they dont bother turning up - no way 2500 paid to get in last night (even allowing for the very good Killie crowd).

Interesting game ahead and looking forward to my trip to Tynecastle.

Expecting a cagey affair as per usual, but have a sneaky suspicion Heckingbottom will know a way around the agricultural, attritional Levein tactics.  1-0 Hibs.

Looking forward to a few bevvies, not so much the match - been beaten down by so many shitey matches there over the years .

My prediction - match to be decided by a goalmouth stramash toepoke by someone in a jobby coloured jersey

2-0 Hearts.  We'll put in a performance after the shambles of last night and give everyone false hope before we embarrass ourselves at Hampden next week.

No need for embarrassment m9, just ask the Hibs lads on here, we will point out the best pyro / buckfast shops for your day out in the west :whistle

Willie Collum is ref. ☹️
Alan Muir is 4th official. ☹️☹️
A turgid 1-0 victory to Our Gorgie Chums via. Ikpeazu pelanty after he’s fouled in the box by a blade of grass.
Darren McGregor sent off before kick off for shaking hands “with intent” with the Hearts team.

But Dirk - you've just demonstrated how it does matter to you.

A lot of rumours Levein is retiring to Spain in the summer and this could be his last Tynecastle derby......

If it is to be his last he’ll want to go out in true Levein style, 90 minutes of eye rape for the punters and a shitey late goal from one of the 2 space jam monsters they have up front.

At least it’s a Saturday game though and we can all get thoroughly pished, behave badly and increase the current crisis Scottish football is experiencing.

When was the last Tynie derby at 12:30 on a Saturday btw?

Hearts have released one of those videos as well.  Pretty shan tbh, but in the interests of respecting the rivalry I'd like to say ours is miles better than that one.

Highlight of yours had to be Ikpeazu boasting about scoring against Leeds United while at Cambridge.  warnock.png.b15f4016776445735806b24c03644bd9.png

Clearly still affected by concussion, can't start on Saturday.

As amusing as the last derby he managed when you came to relegate us...

Were Hearts relegated that season?

This is a yes or no question, it has to be a one-word answer, you can't add anything else to it.
