How many pints do you drink on a night out?

What sad is people think drinking lots of alcohol is something to be proud of.

When folk are teenagers and first start drinking it's common for folk to boast about it and claim that they can drink more etc. Most folk did it then, but to do it when you're older is absolutely tragic.

I know a guy who used to do it well in to his 20s..

Leah Betts drank 12 pints of water in 90 minutes.  Apparently taking E can stop you peeing so contributed to her brain damage due to water poisoning.

A pint of water every seven and a half minutes, goodness me.

MDMA makes you crave water, but also stops you peeing, hence you can end up basically drowning yourself. Experienced users are always telling new users just to sip water.

Leah’s father couldn’t stress clearly enough that it wasn’t down to the water she drank that she died and that anyone that claimed that was spreading lies.

26 pints [emoji849]

7 is my absolute upper limit on a decent night out, any more than that and there's a high chance I'll spew. Tend to stick to 5/6 these days.

The fact that there are people that genuinely believe their mates can drink 20+ beers in one night is slightly worrying.

I am WAY past the age of sinking a dozen pints on a night out.  If I'm going out with the Kiwi girl I'm seeing I'll either drive or or we'll get a taxi and have a  G&T each and share a bottle of wine.  Maybe a malt and an espresso each.

OTOH, if I'm posting on the Sevco/politics threads and I'm on my own?  Two bottles of toilet duck, a half bottle of gin and 8 cans of Stella just to inure myself against the cessationist dross.

To be fair, I don't think I've seen anyone accuse you of drinking household goods. That was more aimed at Wunfellaff. You were more of the sozzled in the armchair with an empty bottle of Cognac in your lap, type of drunk.

He's an anti drugs campaigner, of course he's going to say that.

MDMA alone is not a killer.

27 or whatever in 3 hours is obviously bullshit though, and a very strange lie.

Up there with the poster who claimed to put away a good few pints and 15 vodkas in 3 hours at the airport before boarding a flight.

I don’t really see your point that he would feel obliged to so vehemently deny the true cause of his daughters death if he knew it to be true just because it fit his anti drugs campaign a bit better. She still died as a direct result of taking drugs so he could have still done the same work whilst highlighting the effects taking ecstasy can have on some people (ie you sometimes can’t pish and crave water). It would have promoted safer drug taking for those of us who couldn’t abstain from taking party pills.

I've no idea how many points I could drink now, not bothered either. Think last time I had a lot was around November going to a Bundesliga game. Think I had about 5 pints whilst I was at the ground after a couple of bottles at work beforehand.
