Oh dear, looks like Danny's the new hate figure:thumsup2
Was 'Gav' quality today?

Swankie claiming a phantom foul in the lead up to the winner, has he forgotten the off the ball trip on Spencer 1st half?

Dick complaining about the Forfar time wasting tactics.......(answers on a postcard)

The champagne was a waste of time btw....:thumsup2

We had enough chances to win the game but didn't take them. After Bobby, Wallace and Doris went off the ball just didn't stick up top although McKenna had a couple of decent efforts and a great save from mccallum. Poor clearence for the winner and it was well taken. Need to get back on the rails next week.

Aye, a mate in hospitality saw the champagne and the Ladbrokes "Champions" banner getting loaded back into their bus. C'mon the Mo next week and Brechin the week after to keep them on ice.

Will there have to be a tariff added on to this alcohol traveling all over Angus in the next few weeks? Perhaps they would be better with Theresa in charge..

Equal first half , Arbroath the second half they missed some glorious chances . Good to see Easton getting dropped

Agree, but i thought this was a great chance to change Baird for Easton last 15, in that hole as TOB was winning absolutely everything.

It looked like a steal, it probably was a steal.....Fucking magic!!! :thumsup2

A decent game of football for a derby with plenty of quality from both sides. I thought the Lichties shaded it but beaten by 2 good goals and some excellent goal keeping.

The difference to our performance today by fielding Wallace and Doris was immense. They need to start next week. So much more presence and threat in attack. We really lost momentum when they went off and Bobby was injured. It was always going to be a tough one today, but that was nothing to be disheartened by.

Thought the game was pretty poor from both sides if i’m honest, pleased to win today, all we’ve done is delay the inevitable really.
Referee was very inconsistent today for both sides, nearly every challenge in the first half was deemed a booking.

Enjoyed Mr O’Brien’s injury feint, could barely walk then runs on the park with nothing wrong with him. Was never a foul either [emoji23]

Hilson’s free kick was sublime but thought Jamieson should never be beaten from it, he looked at fault for our winner too!
Will take it though!

Some arbroath fans feeling bitter, but they had there chances as well as us, we just took ours.

Jamie Bain is never a winger in a million years, was so wasteful today.

Was at the game today taking my wee boy to his first game; he can come back!

Thought sometimes the quality was lacking, albeit there was also some nice bit of play at time and it was certainly exciting.

Think a draw might have been fair but great to see both teams going for it; we could have easily settled for a draw but got the rewards for going for it.

Arbroath came close to the winner themselves and will be gutted to lose it late on, shame. Dick's face at the end was a picture![emoji23]

Great result. Jim enjoyed the win too.
Lewis Moore making that position his own and Coupe played well and defended well once he came on.

Baird’s first touch is horrendous!

Looking forward to the highlights and Dick’s interview [emoji23]

Happy with the result and the delay to the Smokies party.

Well done Forfar [emoji106]

The only positive we can take away from today is we’ve been fanning around for too long with starting strikers/ winter signings, Doris and Wallace need to start next week. If this had been consistent prior, who knows the league may already have been wrapped up!?
