Having drawn with Raith in the final game of last season to get Ayr promoted and  having lost to Ayr three times already this season, I feel it's incumbent on Alloa to continue their  good work for the AU Benevolent Society by gubbing Thistle on Tuesday.  Likewise the next time they play Dunfermline.

No but don't worry.  Every goal we score will be met with a short applause and perhaps a few hip hip hoorays.  Don't want to overdo it you know.

Watching the news tonight wrt a woman who feels no pain. It was explained that she is “from Inverness and has a genetic mutation”.

Yeah m9, we're at least one step above the pondlife who populate the central belt.

3 points here for the barns would be massive. Can see a draw with our shitfest tactics but IF we play two up front and a bit more on the front foot then 3 points is not impossible. ICT defense looked a bit wobbly at the end against Alloa. Go for it Ray. Toddy and Zak up front

Didn't think I'd be saying this when we signed the guy but we are really going to miss Welsh. Expecting Chalmers to come back into the middle and Walsh return to the right flank. Not too shabby but Welsh, as mentioned on other threads, has been perhaps the standout player for us this season.

That didnae really work for you there. Suggest you read it back to yourself. The penny might just drop.

There is zero chance of this happening. ICT are a very good side on their day, with a number of attacking threats, and are in decent form. Suspect we will be set up for a point. McKinnon's style of play could best be described as pragmatic. That is not going to change. We won't be "going for it" unless or until we find ourselves in Absolute Must Win territory.

Don’t think many Falkirk fans would have expected you to say that either. What’s made him a standout for you guys?

He is a very good footballer for this level. He is composed on the ball and dictates play with a very good eye for a pass.

He has a simple job, feed the ball into our attacking players, but he does it perfectly. He has even now started to push forward and has been chipping in with goals and assists.

He is worthy of our player of the season just for scoring penalties though.

Worse than the loss of Welsh is the presumed solution - the pairing of Trafford and Chalmers in the centre of midfield. While they've both played well recently, whenever they play together in front of the defence there's a lack of composure that spreads a sense of panic out to the rest of the team. Having said that, I can't think of any alternative.
