Euro Qualification 2020

Wales best hope is Denmark qualifying from groups and replacing them in the play offs against possibly other replacements, if I’ve worked that out correctly. Not over for them in the group yet really long way to go but an uphill battle, played 2/3 hardest games though.

If Denmark qualifies automaticlly, it doesn't mean that Wales will immediately replace them in the play-offs. They are 7th in the general rankings for Nations League B. To get in the PO, they need 3 out of the top 6 to qualify automatically, so any 3 out of: Bosnia, Ukraine, Denmark, Sweden, Russia and Austria. Even if that doesn't happen, they can still get a PO spot if more than 8 group A teams qualify automatically as then these spots will go to teams in the B-league.

In other words: it's pretty much certain Wales are in the PO.

France getting absolutely slaughtered in their media, particularly the attitudes of Mbappé and Pogba.

Probably be quite hard to be arsed playing Andorra in the middle of June to be fair.  They won 4-0 away ffs.  Who cares who the opposition was.

After the ridiculous overhyping and pressure the French have given Mbappé all before the age of 21, it’s little wonder he might begin to show a bad attitude, and he still scored.

France don’t even have to try and they’ll still qualify, whether it be top 2 in their group, or via a League A play-off backfilled with shite like Wales from leagues below.

Not sure if this is good news or bad news for Scotland but Serbia have sacked their manager after their dire result against Ukraine.

And in hugely surprising news they replaced him with the just sacked Montenegrin manager Ljubiša Tumbakovic, who refused to manage the team against Kosovo last week.

Interesting.

There's no doubt Serbia have some talented players there an d a potentially worrying NL playoff tie against them. They tend to have cracking qualifying campaign followed by absolute stinker, a bit like the Greeks.

If we have to meet Serbia in the NL playoffs, hopefully Clarke can mention that half our team have Kosovan/Albanian granny/heritage.

I didn't realise Scotland used to be known as Albania ~1000 years ago. Change it back for a week or two in March next year.

Just looked at it all again. Going off my predictions I’ve got Bosnia Austria wales and Slovakia in b. With Romania turkey and both Ireland’s going into a. Scotland Norway Serbia and Bulgaria in c with d unchanged. I could well be wrong.
