The Moonster
Move Carswell from midfield and we look pish. Thomas back to his "just fucking hit it" mode and failing. Need an early goal to have any hope but we look likely to concede at any moment so f**k knows.
Jan Vojáček
Hopefully Adam gets sent off so we can stick an outfielder in goals. Garbage defending.
Bring Back Paddy Flannery
Starting get worried at what this will end up. Our defence is all over the place, our midfield is non existant and our strikers are just kind of running around doing f**k all.

Bring Back Paddy Flannery
Hopefully that's the last we see of Michael Paton in a Dumbarton shirt.

Jan Vojáček
You could pretty much tell from the moment our teamsheet arrived that we were losing today. Without Carsy in centre-mid we're an absolute mess, and it makes Jim's decision to let Spencer go continue to look very weird. Sure we had issues today: No McLean/Henk or Perry, Adam selling the jerseys, usually reliable guys like Ballantyne, Mango and DT struggling to get into the game, but an awful lot of the issues we have stem from our central-midfield. Massive week coming up.
O'Kelly Isley III
To be honest, we are never more than a heartbeat away from performances and results like this and I shudder to think where we would have been had not Mango and Dom Thomas returned to duty.We all know how fragile, erratic and in some cases dismally consistent our squad is, so it's all about gathering enough points to be no worse than eighth place. grumswall
Was a bit shaky at times. Thankfully Dumbarton left Thomas at home today or it could have been a closer game.
Beachbum
Mango looked like he's had one injury too many because he's nothing like the player he was at Starks. For us today our midfield strolled it, with Gullan an absolute stand out. If we could get Hendry to partner him next season and have Vaughan back with Nisbet up front then that would improve things. Decent performance today. Pity we won't meet a team like Dumbarton in the play-offs.
Raithie
Surprised at how straight forward that was. Always nice to get it up Bobby Barr who got a wee bit overly excited at Dumbarton’s goal.
Frank conner
Wouldn't be surprised if Dumbarton go down they really are a poor team. They did create a few chances but that was a stroll for us .
chimney
Same diamond formation as last week behind Nisbet & Buchanan. Just that Gullan has replaced Dingwall at the tip and Matthews has replaced Gillespie who has moved to RB. These 2 made a huge difference, Gullan’s movement & deft touches were excellent well deserving MoTM and Matthews who gets so much stick scored a great goal, used the ball well and does so much good work off the ball that makes us so much more solid and less likely to concede stupid goals, like he also did so successfully in the last difficult game he played away to Arbroath. Stopped any free space for that Dom Thomas to run into and got him hooked. Hopefully JMcG can see that for himself now, rather than allowing the opposition to just run past the likes of the uninterested Flanagan & Gillespie who are so switched off when we don’t have the ball (which is roughly 50/55% of every game). Today we had a much more solid platform to build from it was like night & day, where not only did we give them very few opportunities we also created so many for ourselves plus scored 4 good goals. Maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel unless it is just McGlynn signalling to change it all again with his torch.

lellywong
Night and day from last week against Forfar. 4 goals and chances for more, the team looked interested and confident, how can this be almost the same players from last week who looked like they didn't want to be there or play any sort of football. Played some nice passing footie at times, what a pleasure coming out at full time with a win. Dumbarton nowhere as good as what I expected. The results of other games went our way for once, be interesting to see what team turns up next week against the Fife
Ro Sham Bo
It wasn't a stroll by any means. Two moments either side of half time and the game could've been totally different. Firstly we got an unbelievably soft goal right on half-time and then Dumbarton missed a sitter right at the start of the second half. Overall we were pretty decent though and hopefully Gullan can continue to perform like that at the tip of the diamond. We still look vulnerable defensively, especially down the flanks, and you feel that we need to score 3 or 4 goals before you can reasonably confident that we'll win any given game.
