Salvo Montalbano Posted March 26, 2019 Share Posted March 26, 2019 How so?From a United point of view it would have looked like a really good goal, with a quick burst from wide and a tidy finish, but we had two or three chances to stop him either legally or illegally and we failed. Both our centre halves have been awful tonight. The full backs have done a bit better but are still being beaten top often. To be honest United could be 3 up, with Scully making two good saves, one coming off a defender on the line and a good chance at the end of the half. Having said that, I'm not that impressed by the Arabs. They seem a team that are full of contradictions. Lots of tippy tappy stuff along the back line then hoooooofff! up to Safranko. Lots of strong, physical players but they go down as if shot whenever touched. Confident looking centre halves that still have a mistake in them. The difference of course is that they're on a good run or form and have played 2 games while we've sat idle.
