So so poor, so many individual mistakes,  Donnelly and Swankie very poor,
So much pressure to win next week now

Obviously don't want to get into a bad run but Forfar play Raith next week, someone's dropping points. Still think 3 wins and a draw would do it. Still 12 clear we've gave ourself a very good cushion. Stick with the same team again, only change id make is Wallace or McKenna in for Donnelly. Need to get a bit of consistency back, teams been like a pick and mix the last wee while

Very poor game today. Improved when Wallace and McCord came on but still wasn't enough. Munro showed why we should have signed him. We really need to improve our results. Was surprised Hammy played. Next game we should played Wallace and Doris upfront. Get McKenna back too.

Thought Doris was unlucky to go off, if we get through next week with the same advantage at worst with 7 games to go it will be a good position be in

Even if someone wins 6, draws 1 and loses 1, which would still be a great return from 8 games, they'd only get 19 points, we aren't needing much here but a win would be very handy because I think we've been off it since the Raith game, even beating Airdrie was pretty lucky.

We got what we deserved today. There was no cutting edge and no midfield drive. Stenny were the better team. Why on earth did Wallace not start if he was fit? Our front 2 were hopeless. McGuigan was easily the best forward on the field.
Hopefully with McKenna and Gold back next week we might grind out a result.

Pretty poor from us today we just look disjointed just now with no cutting edge but for Bobby missing that pen and what looked like a Jamieson mistake for Stennys first it could've been a much different  outcome we did also hit the bar and had a shot cleared of the line before they scored but we just didn't look cohesive. conditions didn't help but it was the same for both teams. Aside from injuries a bit too much mucking about with the team lately. Stenny were worth their win with a workman like performance which we never really looked like breaking down once they had scored.

Doris has had very little game time and always gives 100%. Did donnelly win a competition to play for arbroath or something? Looks like a lost puppy. And im not sure spence touched the ball when he came on.

Looking forward to gold & mckenna coming back, we really miss their drive & energy

100% agree, denholm deserves a start next week. Again Donnelly was hopeless. Doris made an impact and played well IMO, put it this way at least we had the chances created to miss with Doris being up front unlike the last couple of weeks, with Strikers having limited/ next to no shots on target. Spence was garbage again coming on. Back to basics I say, trying to fit Donnelly and Spence into the team has 100% upset the rhythm. Next week has to be Wallace and Doris starting up front.

Yes dj did make a mistake and yes so did bobby but for all they have done for us this season I think we can let it go and move on to next week still 12 points clear.

Only way we are going to win the league is for Dick to admit his mistake in signing these 'stars' in January and playing them. We must return to our team line up that served us well before these signings. After to-day's display by Swankie he should be dropped and replaced by Goldie.

Cannot see us winning the play-offs if we do not get automatic promotion.

but as usual dick shows his lack of tatical nouse takes two strikers of when they got nothing from midfield swankie hasnt kicked a ball since the raith game. bobby very poor today tob to blame for both goals in my opinion but its always the strikers who play fault has to be doris and wallace upfront next week. but dick has to justify spending money on spence and donnelly fucking joke

We were poor all over the pitch today.  We didn't keep the ball on the ground just lumped it up in the air for the wind to play havoc with it.

Bobby Linn's penalty brought back memories of Paul McManus' against Montrose, at the same end and over the bar, and from being top of the table ended up losing in the play-offs.

The fact that management did not strengthen the team in the transfer window hasn't helped when injuries and suspension come up, we lack good back ups in a too may positions. Bringing in Spence and Donnelly doesn't look like paying off at present.

As has been said, our home form hasn't been that good but we've pulled off a few results when the opposition have actually looked to be the better side. But we should be capable of beating teams that are at the bottom of the league if we have expectations of promotion.  Again today, although the wind spoiled the game, we didn't look like a side who would be capable of holding their own in the Championship. Just wish I could say that it was just one of those days, but too often we struggle against teams that we should be better than.

Hopefully we will be much improved next week with McKenna back from suspension and the others fully recovered from their injuries.

Was McKenna in Dick's bad books for being suspended, having to buy his own half time cuppa from the pie stall?

If so he’s got a cheek, he will have the most suspensions of the season

Dick seems to be running at about 50% success in the transfer market. Wallace and McKenna brilliant, Spence and Donnelly??
TBH we rode our luck in recent games before these 2 defeats which have really exposed our weaknesses. Anything short of the 11 which took us to the top is likely to fall short. Back to basics next week, please.
