If they timed their runs better then they had two clear runs at goal on the counter yesterday. With the talent Celtic have in attack, that would be a mistake. The best I had seen them play (Ibrox against Celtic excluded) is in Europe playing on the counter. Best way for us to play would be to suffocate the Celtic midfield and backline like we did at Hampden and for the first half at Pittodrie on Boxing Day. As for the match - I was at the previous one and we created as many chances as the home team, then lost to that scrappy backheely thing. With the replay in mind, we may rest a couple here, and also will need to try out whatever forward formation we intend to use at Ibrox where Super Sam is suspended. 2-0 defeat......... I expect Derek McInnes to adopt the same kind of conservative game plan that he used to eek out a win at Parkhead near the end of last season, so silky football could be at a premium again.
