Telfer’s is one of a range of three “leisure” shirts brought out (as you said) for Italia ‘90. To this day I don’t think anyone ever got to the bottom of what a “leisure” shirt actually was but they were never match replica shirts in an away or third sense that the team would wear in a game. This is why I watch on iplayer the following morning. It’s on far too late for old boys like me. In the cold light of day, it’s a good watch. Looking forward to the second show on 25th June when the group games will have taken place and we can discuss our qualification. Then hearing 500 miles like that, made me all tingly. Pat was fantastic value as he always is and the food feature was fun, especially seeing Joel get jellied eels twice in a row. The VTs were predictably good as always and the Spanish version of 500 Miles was just immense - wonderful musicianship.
