I'm all for one big 42 team league after this has sorted itself out. Having had a fairly shite time of things in the last 7-8 months when you get that 2-3 hours of going to the football it's pure escapism. Not suggesting at all it should happen but its not as far fetched as initially it might seem. The last minute winners this series have all been shite, unfortunately. Dunning1874 Posted March 22, 2020 Share Posted March 22, 2020 Worth recalling that we were already looking at having some sort of upheaval to the calendar for 21/22 & 22/23 due to the 2022 World Cup taking place in November/December. Make the 86 game season for the 44 team league (adding Brora and the winner of a Kelty v Bonnyrigg playoff) run to 2022, whether that’s to a May ending with 22/23 having an extended winter break, or up to October with an end for the World Cup and then a half season from January-May 2023.
