Pars vs Queens

Recommended Posts

We're in March and folk still can't swipe their season tickets correctly. Give me strength.

Anyway, Connolly coming in is the right call. He's not the quickest but he's determined and will create the space necessary for Anderson to flourish.

2-0 Pars

Aird in for Maguire the only change for us.  So 7 defensive players down from the 8 that started against Morton.  Presumably it's

Martin

Mercer Fordyce Brownlie Marshall

Doyle Jacobs Wilson Aird

Dykes Dobbie

Could be a back three of Fordyce Brownlie and Wilson with Aird in behind the strikers.  Who knows?  Who cares?  We will still lose from a set piece goal after huffing and puffing for 85 minutes.

That’s the same back 4 that played in the game at East End last March that Dunfermline won 3-1. Kind of puzzling that reverting to the same defenders who conceded 53 goals last season (excluding Kerr and Cameron) is thought to be going to improve matters. Hope Naysmith has got it right.

In two minds who I want to win this, in one hand it would be hilarious to see QOS with the so called best player in the division relegated to league 1. Their fans have also developed ‘Stranraer syndrome’ with regards to their hatred of the Super. However on the other hand a Pars win would see them close the gap to 6 points.
Score draw.

Dobbie is comfortably the best player in this division.

Very much like the last few Pars games - an awful first half with the opponents having more possession and looking the more threatening without Scully really making a save. Let's hope the second half picks up in the same way the last three have, especially Tuesday night.

Dunfermline had the best chance in the first 10 minutes but since then it's been tight between the two sides with a few half chances for both, Aird is by a distance the biggest QoTS threat atm.

Good that he seems to have fully recovered from the knock that prevented him from playing on Tuesday night.

The first 45 was probably the most attacking I've seen Queens this season.

They've reverted back to sitting very deep though, been well on top since L Longridge came on.

A goal would be nice. Dunfermline one please x

Goal from a corner. This is beyond a joke.

Don't know where you're getting that from, it was a very decent hit from outside the box into the bottom corner.
