Pars vs Partick

We shitfested the first half, got a good poachers goal early in the second, kept it tight while Partick tried to react, well on top for the last part of the second half once Partick opened up and tried to chase it.

Through gritted teeth, two more wins and Dunfermline are safer than safe and with a win against the new whipping boys Queens on Saturday will see a top 4 place with ICT not playing

It’s a guarantee we’ll fail to score against a defence including Danny Devine and Ryan Scully...

Great prediction!

Super result tonight and what a great run the guys are on just now. Three wins in a row, three clean sheets in a row and the Pars are now just two points off the top four.

Can't deny it; didn't see this on the horizon but I'm delighted they're all proving me wrong. What a signing Bruce is turning out to be and it's amazing what confidence can do for a set of players. No reason we can't go make it 4/4 against Queens on Saturday.

A rotten result for Thistle right enough, especially with Falkirk and Alloa not playing. Dundee United and Ayr to come before that massive game at Falkirk on the 16th.

Absolutely no idea what you watched, lumping balls up too two strikers with a combined age of 98, couldn’t string two passes and to top it off the manager gave Harkins 90 mins lol.
They held the ball up well in the first half.
Not amazing but were better than us for spells without a cutting edge.

Pleasing to see Longridge is still greedy and shite, was even more pleasing to see a team far worse than us.

Hot take on our 3-0 win chief.

Will be tough with Queens starting to panic about the sides below them. It seemingly took that fear for us to start putting a run together.

Four subs on the Queens bench, kinda suggests they are at their limits in options and their last 5 league games show LLLLL

For a team with no defensive midfielders, it wasn't surprising Dunfermline walked through us on the counter attack. For a team with so many in theory attacking players our failure to create more than one shot at goal in 90 minutes is hugely worrying.  If we're just going to hump it for 90 minutes then Mansell might as well play, he's hopeless but he might win the odd header.

To lose one goal from a set piece is annoying, to lose the same guy making the same run twice in 20 minutes is amateur. After that we chucked it.

The passage of play before the third goal where Spittal and Slater tackled each other should be on one of those "Scottish football lol my nan could score" videos tweeted by some nonce who supports an EFL league one brexit voting Town shit hole team.

40 points looks a long, long way off.

1st half would get football banned. 2nd half we weren’t better as such, just handled the game better and managed to get a scrambler’s goal. Partick will be disappointed to lose two goals from corners and the 3rd was a nice wee move and just a matter of poking it in the net.

Think we tried everything to make the game easier for Partick. Lost count how many times we gifted possession and were casual with short passes. Thankfully it never cost us.

MOM between Devine, Anderson, Blair and Craigen. Give it to Anderson for his goals I suppose.

Danny Devine solid again and deserved his goal and assist. First half was a dreadful game of football. Once Anderson opened the scoring, we settled down and it got fairly comfortable.

Brilliant energy all over the park from us, fighting for everything. Thought Partick look really poor. Coulibaly seemed to have a lot of pace to burn and energy, but Partick had resorted to lumping the ball up in the air, by the time he came on, which seemed a waste, but was good from our perspective.

All you do is troll just f**k off. You contribute nothing.
Fucks sake what a mess. Wipe yourself down and off to bed you absolute state of a human being.

Great result tonight. Somehow we've sorted ourselves out and are hitting form at exactly the right time. Two very winnable games coming up next.
