Queen's Park v Clyde

Recommended Posts

This time next week QP will be behind Clyde by either,  21 points (14-5 at Oddschecker)
or  24 points (47-18 at Oddschecker)
or  27 points (13-15) at Oddschecker)
Now given that the "resurgent" QP are playing like Brazil and poor wee Clyde have only a junior centre-half as an entire forward line surely the bookies have called this wrong.
Get your cash on QP and that'll ease the pain after we skoosh it.

Well, given that Norrie Inne$ has presented Danny Lennon with one of the biggest budgets in the lower leagues, it'd be frankly embarrassing if Clyde weren't promoted, never mind seeing off an amateur side.

Not even close to the largest budget in this division; I wonder where QP's expenses put them in terms of budget. Probably only slightly above your current league position, so the season hasn't been a total disaster.

The rapist and Rankin are among the highest paid players in this league. A few more on hefty wages and a geographic advantage over one of your main rivals. Huge pressure on Clyde to be promoted.

Aside from the fact it's an obvious trolling attempt from yourself, two players alone being on a good wage does not equate to being among the highest spenders in League 2, never mind the two bottom leagues combined - until Sutherland left, Elgin presumably had he and Cameron earning well. Add in the fact that Peterhead have Sutherland, McAllister, Lyle, Dow, Gibson and Fleming (to name just six), I think it's fairly obvious who should be winning the league based on spending. Gibson and Fleming are both from the Borders region and yet geography did not dissuade them from Jim McInally's megabuck funhouse.

Clyde's budget will be on a par with the them. I'm told Goodwilie is on eye watering money. Just as well. He'll have needed it for those unpaid legal fees.

You always seem to be crying about something to do with Clyde, so this news is far from surprising.

I just worry about whether this level of spending is sustainable for the 5th best supported team in the fourth tier of Scottish football. We've all seen what's happened to Albion Rovers.

How is your deal to sell Hampden coming along? Looks like we will be heading into financial oblivion together x x

Believe it's going OK, despite what was said in the comic books. Still groundsharing with Cumbernauld Colts in your rented ground?

Can’t wait to skelp these diddies on their home patch with only a junior cb available to play up front. Following our easy win at Broadwood last time we played them it will be glorious scenes as they realise natural order is restored once and for all.
