DeeTillEhDeh
With apologies to topcat. Thanks to St Johnstone getting a draw at Ibrox, Saint Mirren’s point at Pittodrie wasn’t enough to keep the possibility of top six football alive for them. The 6th place Perth Saints are now 25 points clear of their Paisley counterparts with only 24 points available before the split
Melanius Mullarkey
I may be wrong but if Celtic win tomorrow an Aberdeen victory against Hamilton through the week secures a top 6 finish for the Dandy Dons.
10menwent2mow
Celtic and Rangers have secured top 6 football. St Mirren, Dundee and Hamilton will all battle it out in the bottom 6. Although the Dons have yet to seal their top 6 place they have managed to avoid the automatic relegation place, a win against Hamilton will ensure that they can't be relegated. Defeat for Hamilton or Dundee coupled with a Kilmarnock win will also see Killie safe from the drop.

10menwent2mow
There are now only 5 teams in with a chance of winning the title.Kilmarnock and Aberdeen have sealed top 6 football. Hearts and Hibs cannot be relegated. If Livingston fail to beat hibs they will be consigned to the bottom 6, Motherwell require one more win to avoid the automatic drop.If hearts fail to beat Aberdeen or celtic beat rangers then hearts will drop out of the title race. 10menwent2mow
Perth saints win over paisley saints on Wednesday means both they and Motherwell are safe from the automatic drop. A draw between Dundee and St Mirren will mean St Johnstone are completely safe and Motherwell will require a point and Livingston 3 to guarantee safety. A st Mirren win would leave Perth saints needing a point to guarantee safety and a win would be required for Motherwell. Livi would need a win to avoid the automatic drop. A dundee win will mean either Perth saints or Motherwell winning to guarantee safety. If livi fail to beat hibs on Friday, they will finish in the bottom half. Motherwell will also be ruled out of top 6 contention should they lose and Hibs win. St Johnstone can be ruled out of top 6 contention if they lose AND Hibs win AND hearts pick up a point against Aberdeen. A hearts win will secure a top 6 place if St Johnstone don't win. Hibs cannot secure a top 6 place this weekend. Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk

Currently 8 points ahead of our total after 30 games last season. Somehow Hearts are the most improved team in the league Maybe things aren't quite so bad after all The numbers for everyone else Hearts: 47(+8) St Johnstone: 41(+7) Kilmarnock: 51(+5) Motherwell: 40(+5) Celtic: 70(+3) Rangers: 60(+2) Aberdeen: 52(-4) Hamilton: 24(-6) Hibs: 45(-7) Dundee: 18(-10)
Suspect Device
I like a good stat but as old Ebbe used to say, stats are like mini skirts..….. Hearts fans are still moaning but are the most improved team. Of course all that means is they were rank rotten last season.

Ebbe on the other hand is 73 year old man whose knees are presumably shot, so I might well have a chance. He's also a non native English speaker so I reckon I've got a better chance on the countdown conundrum

topcat(The most tip top)
Hearts have made the cut for the top 6 St Johnstone are bottom 6 Hibs and Motherwell are the only ones to be decided Even if Motherwell don’t make the top 6 they’re now safe from relegation
10menwent2mow
Despite beating Aberdeen, Hearts are now out of the title race thanks to Celtic beating Rangers. Should celtic beat St Mirren it will mean only rangers can catch them (no sniggering at the back) anything other than a win for Aberdeen or a draw for killie will extinguish their title challenge if celtic lose. There are only three teams that can go down, livi are safe as St Mirren and Dundee winning all remaining games would require Hamilton losing three times and this would mean they couldn't catch livi. They do however require a win to guarantee avoiding the play off or for St Mirren to lose to Celtic. Should Motherwell fail to beat Aberdeen or hibs beat killie, the top 6 will be decided. However both Motherwell and St Johnstone can secure a top 9 finish in midweek.

10menwent2mow
A victory for Celtic over St Mirren means the title is now a one horse and one donkey race. Hibs secure the final top 6 slot and the Spaghettihad will host top flight football again next season. As for the weekend, Celtic will claim the title with a victory and a Rangers defeat, while Rangers can secure a top 5 finish with a win at Motherwell. 10menwent2mow
Celtic will be champions with a victory and Rangers failing to beat Hearts. Rangers will claim a top 4 finish with a victory or Hibs failing to win. That's it for this weekend
wastecoatwilly
Killie could be the second team to eclipse their points total from last season with a win at the weekend.
