Aberdeen Cowden Posted February 16, 2019 Share Posted February 16, 2019 Bollan did exactly the same in the last home game against Annan when he dropped half the team and had Pyper and Scullion as our two central defenders. No chance we’ll beat Albion if he puts that team out again. We were lost every time a cross came into our box. Still can’t believe what I witnessed today. Deas could be back for Tuesday and with Bollan junior suspended there would have to be at least one change from today's line up. Your thinking of the last home game v Albion when we made a lot of changes, Scullion never played against Annan Gilfillan did. See Pat was playing for Gala today. big al Posted February 16, 2019 Share Posted February 16, 2019 It’s all very well Bollan focusing on individual moments/ errors/ lack of concentration etc and saying it’s a late goal so it shouldn’t have happened. its hiding behind the real story though, which is the goal(s) was coming. Annan were unlucky to not already be in the lead with a few cleared off the line and just more of the general play and chances in the 2nd half. We can’t keep just trying to defend / block and scrape by, a goal was inevitable and everyone on the terrace knew it anyway. we got what we deserved.
