GordonS
Scotland confirmed among the top seeds for the draw on 21 February, with the first round of matches on 26 August this year. Group winners and best 3 runners-up go through, with the 6 other runners-up playing off for the final three spots. The finals will be held in England.
GordonS
So we got Finland, Portugal, Albania and Cyrpus. A pretty tough draw. Finland aren't one of the better sides in Pot 2, they didn't have a great World Cup qualifying campaign, but they're managed by ex-Scotland boss Anna Signeul who will know exactly how to play us. Portugal are arguably the best team in Pot 3, again they didn't have a great World Cup qualifying campaign though they weren't far behind, but they qualified for the last European Championships where they beat us 2-1. They only lost 2-1 to England, too. I don't know how much churn they've had in their squad since then, though. Albania we know, and we should beat even if it was a close-run thing there last year. Cyprus are a bit of an unknown quantity, this is the first time they've entered qualification for some time, possibly ever. But their best club side, Somatia Barcelona, beat Glasgow City 1-0 in the second leg of a Champions League Round of 32 tie at Petershill last year, with Glasgow squeeking through 2-1 on aggregate. We avoided the 4-5 better sides in Pot 2, but this is still a fairly difficult group.
Lurkst
I think we can get through this again. And with the finals being in England there's a huge incentive.
Lurkst
Bumped while the iron is hot... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/UEFA_Women's_Euro_2021_qualifying_Group_E First game home to Cyprus in August. Hopefully the raised profile of the squad will see a decent turnout (wherever it's played!)

Nothing against St Mirren but you want somewhere you can maximise the potential for walk-ups.
