These arrows have clearly been photoshopped, apart from that it's incontrovertible evidence that les gilets jaunes are very shouty.

This is the key question right here.

I don't necessarily disbelieve it, the evidence for a chemical attack in Douma was sketchy at best, perhaps because the Russians and Syrians barred the inspectors from the site while it was being  cleaned up, but there are respected journalists like Robert Fisk who doubt it happened. So it's not a controversial opinion.
