Could see Moore playing "in the hole" and running off Hawke. We might even switch back to a four, in which case I'd have Billy in front of Grant down the right.

A number of possibilities, but think the next couple of games could certainly help bring on the likes of Grant and McGrory. Playing them consistently between now and the end of the season would be huge for their development. Would hope we could then sign them up for next season as well.

It's a tough one to call because Mortimer and McLean have played well in recent weeks, but we could very easily get picked apart against better quality sides if we play the system we've played in recent weeks. Will be interesting to see how he approaches it.

Could see a few changes with system with Summers and Moore in with Mortimer and Gow possibly out,

Be interesting to see how QP do against peterhead then Clyde
I thought the game at broadwood against QP is the poorest I have seen them in years . But they certainly seem to have turned that around and certainly going by there fans seems a different team
And hope Queens do win today

Ps looking forward to the galt goal on loop all over social media from Monday onwards

Its  pretty cool eh ?8)8)........Front 3 of Rory { 9) Shane ( 29 ) , Lyle ( 99 )  Wonder who is (69) ...

Its really poncy a forward who can't get the real number 9 wants to make a point and asks for 29 or 99 sad really. The only 99 going around should be a cone with a flake stuck in it:lol:

Another inconsistent referee. They commit 20 fouls and have 2 booked (one for McAllister's usual swan lake performance) and we get 2 booked having committed 6 fouls. They committed deliberate fouls on at least 3 occasions that stopped us breaking away and no action was taken.

Need a statement

QP fans have some sort of yellow card fetish - every game against them they spend all their time and energy roaring at referees to give out bookings to the opposition. Then there was Connah's Quay - what a lot of whining.

The incident Rory got booked for was neither a dive nor a foul. He should have got booked for diving in the box in the first half though so it evened itself out.

As it's a match thread thought I'd make a random comment about the football.

Never felt either team had a period of sustained pressure. Probably due to regular misplaced passes, lost possession on both sides and a lack of fluency. For all that it was a lively game and a fair view chances without keepers being stretched too much. Our defence was much tighter but again a soft early goal, well finished, put us under early pressure. The winner though was worthy of it's title.

Credit to Roberts half-time talk for putting stress on the keeper at corners, a key contribution to our goal, but you have to wonder why players don't do that as a rule in every game.

Struggle to think of a MotM tbh, it was a fairly even effort with only one being poor. Overall, an evenly matched tussle and a very good strike the main difference.

You obviously haven't a scooby what resurgent means. Think...Clyde being gash for 10 years and doing ok this season. That's resurgent. Ditto QP being pish for a couple of months and now being 1970s Brazil-esque.

We've been great the last couple of games. Gearing up for the usual lashing of Clyde.

1 win in 13, resurgent indeed.

A reasonable summary of yesterdays game, two good goals from us but never really looking to comfortable. If Queens play the same way next week & get a wee break they could pick up something against Cumbernauld reserves.
