Club Licencing

Recommended Posts

How difficult can it be to sort this out, as someone says the remaining clubs below the Tay line who are in ERJFA dont seem too concerned regarding pyramid entry and seem happy with there set up next season.

There is one club who are making noises from Tayside area who has the ear of TJ and  because they are jumping up and down about going North we have this mess

SFA please take the initiative here and create a Tayside tier 6 league and insist that they feed into Highland League, EOS will accept any junior team south of the tay into there structure,

Fife and Lothian teams then have a choice to join the pyramid or stay  local and play amateur sides.

not difficult FFS...

Except that the remaining Junior clubs in West Lothian dont want to join the EoSL!

So is trying to piss about and stop the pyramid to develop the way the national association wants it to id say?

Who is trying to stop the pyramid developing? WE ARE IN THE PYRAMID. We want it to develop in the fairest way possible. The East of Scotland clubs from last season facilitated the transfer of the East Junior clubs into the pyramid last summer to help it develop. All of the now East of Scotland clubs want that pyramid to continue to grow and develop. It has no affect for the majority of East of Scotland clubs who aren’t going to be in the playoffs if the West Junior clubs are admitted into the pyramid. Welcome aboard I’d say.

There is absolutely nothing stopping the West clubs coming into the pyramid as they are. Should they be allowed to? Absolutely. The West should be in the pyramid from next season, no arguments at all about that.

Should the East Junior Clubs be allowed to join the pyramid? Absolutely.

Should the East Junior clubs be allowed to come into the pyramid as they are? Absolutely not. The existence of the East of Scotland League as a Tier 6 league negates the need for another East Region League to come into the pyramid at Tier 7. I’d love to see ALL current East Juniors in the pyramid next season just at the appropriate levels.

To say any club currently in the Pyramid is trying to ‘piss about’ because there hasn’t been an appropriate solution to the Pyramid issue is honestly laughable. If the roles were reversed, and there was a West of Scotland League at Tier 6, would you welcome another league attempting to cover the same area at the same Tier despite there already being a pathway to joining the Pyramid which could in turn have an impact on Clydebank? If the answer is yes then more power to you.

Hopefully the EoSL and ERJFA will come up with a way forward that suits all parties through there.

It shouldn’t have any bearing on the West Juniors getting into the pyramid en masse.

The EoSL need to stop being petty about discipline. The SFA are happy with what’s been discussed, just let it go ffs

I think the licences are backdated to whenever the Licensing Committee makes their decision, not the SFA board. The SFA Board had meetings in April and June of 2018 and yet LTHV have it noted as their last Licencing Committee Review as May 2018.

So if all the applications going in front of the SFA Board are simply for acceptance and confirmation on the floodlights issue, they should probably be backdated to February when the Licensing Committee made their ruling. That's my take at any rate.

Very pleased to confirm the Lowland League board has agreed to our request that a waiver be granted to currently unlicensed clubs, in respect of promotion from the East Of Scotland League, until such time as the SFA have held the meetings necessary to determine the outcome of ongoing membership abd licensing applications. The deadline previously had been set at 31 March, when it had been expected matters would have progressed further than is actually the case. Confirmation's been received today from Hampden that the next SFA board meeting in connection with issues relevant to the current situation will take place on 18 April.

Or it could be in retaliation for the EoSL blocking tactics regarding the Juniors.Just saying ......

Are you a troll?

Think he’s a puppet for TJ by the sound of it. Being fed by the charlatan and pissing everyone else off.

SJFA have compromised on nothing, while TJ represents the regions at the PWG that will be the case. He should take a back seat and allow those who actually administer the regions to have discussions as he is clearly only in it to preserve his salary.

He is outside the pyramid having belittled it for years. There is no bargaining power there, he has to make concessions. So far he has made none, even on discipline. Changing points based to a simple card based system isn’t a concession, it’s a necessity.

So does this mean clubs who had applied for a licence but hadn't heard would get promoted?
