Kilmarnock v Celtic

IMHO.... No, it wouldn't make much or any difference.

By the end of this campaign, we will have played Celtic 11 times in 2 years..... the novelty for some or a bumper crowd just isn't there.

Reading our forums..... some refuse to stump up the extra cost of £27 per ticket against £22 for non Celtic/Rangers games (non season ticket holders or cup matches), while others site being subjected to 90 mins of sectarian bile as their reasons for not attending.

Incidentally, the same applies to the other cheek of the arse.

All sounds very reasonable Cammy, but you've negated to mention the prevailing reason that people don't go.

And I'll prepare for the gnashing of teeth from some because it's never admitted to, but the biggest reason - they think we'll get beat.

Correct.

People will come up with all sorts of excuses not to go to these games, when the truth is what you've said.

The league cup semi final our fans came up with a whole host of reasons why they were 'boycotting' the game.  Absolutely lying to themselves, they thought we'd get pumped and couldn't be arsed travelling to see it.  Simple as that.

You're probably right but never understood why folk do that. Why would you want to miss that feeling of getting a positive result against the so called bigger teams and seeing their fans whimper out the stadium with their tails between their legs? Last 2 seasons in particular have been great for that.

On paper, mostly due to the massive financial gulf, we should be getting beat and of course Celtic can turn up and give us a doing like they did last time out, no other scottish team can get near them on that form, but if they're not at full tilt we're more than capable of giving them a game.

Im trying to draw solace from our 100% perfect domestic record this calender year, alluded to the fact we are due a result at Rugby Park through law of averages and a wounded Celtic after a sore one in Europe usually takes it out on the next league opponent.

All of the above is of course clutching at straws, can't see anything other than a tough afternoon at what along with Easter Road has become a real bogey ground for Celtic, any type of win will do me and said win could be massive in the context of this season's title race.

Killie lads where? Certainly not on here.

Remember you said you wouldn't post on Celtic threads again...?

Never said that. Anyway, Killie are at home, so it’s a Killie thread.

You're forever backing him up. It's like you're a Celtic-y Starsky and Hutch.

Can just imagine the two of you having a great time together. Parking in disabled spaces, shouting abuse at kids, having milkshakes, that kind of thing.

Well avoided....

Romeo pick the wrong one from his pocket book of internet trolling?

Doesn't make sense....

Sounds decent, I'm up for that, especially milkshakes.
