jagfox
The main thing Thistle fans ican take from yesterday s that the team has some resemblance of a fighting spirit. On the other hand we can play like the first 20 minutes yesterday in any given game. We have a decent core through the team and experienced players so I'm more hopeful about staying up this season than last. I'm actually looking forward to games now which was miles away from where I felt at this time last year...
Fuctifano
tbf, after the split last year we won 2, drew 2 (inc scoring a last minute pen) and lost 1, if we do that over the next 5 games then we'll be fine. OK, the less said about the play offs the better...

The main worry is the Alloa game which IF we lost would turns things head over tits for us.
vikingTON
Alloa's run-in is actually quite kind IMO as Ayr and Inverness will likely have little other than 3rd/4th prize money to play for in the final two games. Once we donate another three points to the noble cause of relegating Falkirk in midweek I can see them breaking 40 points.
The Ghost of B A R P
Every chance all teams will get more than that predicts, with the exception of Thistle, which looks about right, and, possibly, us. Would happily take the four more predicted if three come against Alloa and one at Falkirk. That would be enough. If we get four before we go to Falkirk, though, I'd fancy us to beat them. QoS will get at least one resounding win over the five games.

This.If we are guaranteed to be in the play offs, a big if, when we are due to go to Alloa there is no way we are playing a full strength side. We don’t have a big squad so I wouldn’t be surprised to see Alloa win that quite comfortably.

I don't think Morton 10-2 throw games late in the season mate.

Wouldn't be surprised to see them beat Queens and Ayr who will have nothing to play for Worry for Falkirk who have played a game more and would be worried if I was a Queens fan.

If we’ve nothing to play for on the last day of the season then I’m happy to help Alloa out. We owe them one from last season.

Be suicidal not too, give game time to the fringe players to give them some match fitness before the playoffs, rest the boys who could possibly have 6 games left.

TheScarf
Alloa are staying up imo. They've hit form at the perfect time.
printer
Alloa are staying up imo. They've hit form at the perfect time. As we did last season, with the same nucleus of players. That's a big positive factor IMO; there will be genuine belief in the squad and Goodwin, I believe. It's still a very big ask for us to finish 8th though.
