Raith Rovers fans are the Clyde fans of League 1.
Appear to think they are a massive club.

Harsh. At least Raith fans aren't rape apologist racist scumbags like a lot of Clyde fans. Plus most of their fans seem like decent sorts, again, unlike a lot of Clyde fans.

Maybe it existed but I don’t remember anyone getting upset at Hearts/Hibs/Rangers/Dundee Utd fans expecting to beat us every time we played.

For some reason at this level even anticipating a victory is arrogance and is a consequence of being fooool time. Raith Rovers are a much bigger club than anyone else in this league, and should expect to win every single game.

Obviously, football doesn’t work like that and currently we are genuinely terrible. Arbroath, East Fife and Montrose have all come to Stark’s Park and been the better team - EF twice. And I can’t even face naming the sides who’ve been better than us when we’ve went away from home - we could probably say Stenny haven’t been, and leave it at that.

It definitely does deserve a lot of mocking, it’s full on Raith Rovers Banter Years at the moment. We’re not just failing but we’re doing it in hilarious fashion. But I don’t think Raith fans thinking we’re better than this league is at all controversial.

We’ll get back to our level again, eventually...

You still here, going on about the Rovers?

I'm just hoping we're both still here next season so I can continue the obsession.

Because we’re a huge scalp for all you diddies

Pffft, may I refer you to the diddy scale:

Run of the Mill Diddy - part time side, few hundred fans, enjoy bowling clubs, have a guy with a bucket acting as a turnstile, alcohol free to consume on the terraces.

Big Time Diddy - part time side, few hundred fans, enjoy bowling clubs, struggle to count the number of people entering a game, charge £2 quid extra for Cat A games.

In a League of their Own Diddy - full time side, a thousand fans, send best player on loan to a part time side, get relegated by same part time side.

Which one do Raith fit, m8?

Biggest club in this league by a country mile so were fair game for mocking  when were doing shite.

Similar to the Rangers when they were plying their trade in the lower divisions

Similar to Rangers in that you are haemorrhaging money and need to get promoted pronto or it's curtains?

That won't go down well.

Got to admit I'm no really seeing it. In tiers of clubs I'd only have Raith one tier above most clubs in this league.

Massive time - Rangers/Sellik

Big Time - Aberdeen, Hearts, Hibs, United

Pretty big time - Dundee, Killie, Dunfermline, Falkirk, Motherwell, Partick Thistle, St Johnstone, St Mirren

4th Half Decent but no quite diddies - County, ICT

5th Good Diddies - Morton, Ayr, QOTS, Raith, Hamilton, Livingston

6th Decent diddies - Airdrie, Arbroath, Dumbarton, East Fife

7th No bad Diddies - Alloa, Forfar, Montrose, Peterhead, Clyde, Stirling, Elgin

8th Slightly Diddier - Stenny, Brechin, QP, Edinburgh City, Annan, Berwick, Stranraer

9th Uber Diddies - Cowdenbeath, Albion Rovers

That would be my personal Scottish football diddy tier

Why are we still going on about this, last Saturday is over and we won, thanks for the good away days raith hopefully get you in a cup next season away from home , 36-0

A bit harsh. We're bad but I'd like to think we could keep it respectable if we do meet in the cup.

Define diddy. Given our current travails I would have thought we are no better than Decent Diddies. Mmmm Diddies.
