Team : Atlanta Falcons

Overall Performance : A failure of a season with the defence struggles continue albeit with the loss of some key personnel early on. A season to forget.

Positives : Offense is getting back to were it should be and with the sacking of 3 coaches including the Offensive coach things may further improve. Calvin Ridley looks a baller.

Negatives : Defense. No pressure on QBs. Secondary is not good. Watching opposition teams drive against them is painful.

Best Player : Well pick from either Matt Ryan or Julio Jones. Notable mention to Kicker Matt Bryant as they don't get any love but he's some boy, and Centre Alex Mack who went to the Pro Bowl again.

Worst Player : It takes some doing to stand out in that secondary but Robert Alford take a bow.

Best Game : Couple of choices and went for the win over Carolina 24-10 in Charlotte. Season was gone but good to get one over a division rival. The win over Washington to go 4-4 was the other game.

Worst Game : Take your pick from the Browns, Packers or the horror show against the Steelers. All on the road up North.

Best Play : Giving the D some love with Vic Beasley rumbling 74 yards on a fumble recovery for a TD against the Ravens. Guess it would be easy to pick JJ making some worldie catch. Notable mention to the punter taking out the returner and planting him near the end of the season.

Chicago Bears

Overall Performance: Very Good, but tinged with disappointment that we lost at home in the playoffs
Positives: Probably the best Defensive team in the NFL and loads of talented young players. Didn't lose a game by more than one score.
Negatives: Our Kicker is blind and we've still never beaten Brady's Patriots.
Best Player: Lots of candidates and it's probably Mack, although Eddie Jackson and Hicks were very impressive.
Worst Player: CODY PARKEY
Best Game: Easily dispatching the Rams was my highlight.
Worst Game: Throwing away a bit less in the opening game against the Packers was bad, but losing to the Dolphins was worse. They and Brock Osweiler always seem to beat us.
Best Play: Intercepting Rodgers, breaking his rum of about 450 passes without an interception, knowing that it sealed a win against the Packers, put us into the playoffs and knocked them out of playoff contention.

Dallas Cowboys (boo! hiss!)

Overall Performance: a season of two halfs, pre and post the Cooper trade.  After giving up a 1st round pick and then losing at home to the Titans at the start of November to go 3-5, the season looked a total washout and a huge missed opportunity. To go from there to an NFC East win and sweep the previous year's Superbowl winners was an amazing turnaround

Positives: The defense finally looks like we won't need to score 30 points every week to stand a chance. Smith and Vander Esch could be  Pro Bowl linebackers for the next 10 years. Linehan has been fired

Negatives: Garrett hasn't! Getting to the Divisional Round and then not turning up in what was basically a home game against the Rams was frustrating - unless you're the Pats you don't get many chances to go deep in the playoffs. The offense can be eye-bleedingly awful to watch, especially in the red zone (see positives)

Best player: Zeke. No team in the NFL is more dependent on one player

Worst player: no obvious candidates from Week 10 onwards but we could have done with David Irving against the Rams. Think he has used up his last chance

Best game: there are a few contenders - beating the Saints when they were the best side in the NFL, the Cooper-inspired OT win against the Eagles, putting 40 points on the Jags when they were still quite good, Week 17 against the Giants was a great (if meaningless) game

Worst game: shut out by the Colts in Week 15. The offense could have played all week and not scored. 0 flattered us

Best play: any of Cooper's 3 TDs vs the Eagles in Week 14

New Orleans Saints:

Overall Performance: Rollercoaster of a year, losing in Week 1 to a Fitzmagic led buccs had me thinking it was going to be a long year, then for 10 weeks looked by miles the best team in the league, really felt this was a superbowl year, felt we got to number 1 seed without being spectacular and that continued in the play offs. Even the NFC championship game i felt we were going to win again without firing. Then came that call!!

Positives: the defense looks legit, especially against the run. Alvin Kamara is a game changer in the pass and run game.

Negatives: i feel Drew Brees arm is going, doesnt have the same deep ball and there could have been a few more TD in the play off if he had the arm to lead the receiver.

Best Player: the usual suspects, Brees to Thomas is the best connection in the league, special mention to Demario Davis who really stiffened the run D.

Worst Player: Not necessarily the worst but the player i dislike most is PJ Williams, gives up too mamy big plays in the passing game especially in 3rd down.

Best Game: Beating the Rams at the superdome in week 9

Worst Game: apart from the obvious in the championship game i felt the worst game was getting manhandled by the cowboys in week 10.

Best Play: Sheldon Rankins stripping the ball from JuJu as the steelers drove into field goal range to tie the game week 16

Cleveland Browns 2018

Overall Performance - Hope. There is hope. Shaky start sprinkled with flashes of what could be. Pumped off the Steelers to finally get Hue Jackson the bullet. Promote an unknown RB coach to OC and the mercurial Gregg Williams to HC and the results were incredible. Real positivity in Ohio for 2019 with Kithchens then made HC. Cannot wait for next season.

Positives - 6. Mayfield. The Chosen one. Huge cap space for free agency to bolster one of the youngest rosters. Chubb is the most efficient RB in league and a star in the making. New Coordinator staff are impressive and only here because of 6. Dorsey in control and has a track record.

Negatives - Season ended too soon with Mayfield only getting 13 starts and really building momentum. Ward concussion issues are a worry.

Best player - 6. QB is everything and we've got our guy.

Worst player - Not many on this as the bar is so low. Coaching appears to have been the biggest weakness.

Best game - Bengals at home. Panthers and Falcons victories were impressive but the Bengals one meant the most as there was expectation and Jackson was on the sideline wearing tiger print. Bakers staredown of Hue was like an exorcism of the past. Crass and unnecessary but absolutely beautiful to watch.

Worst game - Houston. No sacks but Baker got jumped on a couple throws by good LB plays. First half brought a bit of the fear but he came out second half and was a wizard.

Best play - Mayfield to Landry 51 yard precision bomb v the Panthers. One of those holy fucking shit moments where he extended the play and launched a peach from half way into Landry's chest on a deep corner route under triple coverage. Kinda stuff you see from Rodgers and take it for granted. Sublime.
