Whatever happens now @thisGRAEME & @Desp mentioning the play-off's mean tonight will be a damp squib.

Four days of unbridled joy, from early beers before, the scenes at half-time of the Ibrox game when we realised we weren't shiting it, starting the second half by going 3-0 up and really believing we could have scored five or six and the Cathouse after

Move on to Sunday and a 9am start on the tins, squeezing about 30 folks into my living room, some of who I'm pretty sure weren't invited, Cammy Bell and the sea of limbs in the celebrations afterwards, a struggle to get into any pub in Motherwell (remember the Electric shut early to avoid some of their regulars spitting the dummy?), Wetherspoons and being reminded I'd promised after losing 2-0 to Accies on the Friday night, that if we stayed up, I'd shave my head - a mate's dad then went home for various bits of hair cutting utensils, came back, shaved my head and then revealed he was a lorry driver.

I was at that game, Main Stand right behind dugouts.

Was in @ONeils4Oyarder mates before it in Bellshill, then Jack D's then back to Jack D's afterwards.

Lovely way to spend a Sunday.

After coming out of the game on Saturday to find out that as well as going level with Livi, we had gone within two points of Hibs, for the first time I looked and checked to see we were seven points off St. Johnstone and the top six.

Whilst it's still a tall order and I'm not suggesting it's likely, far from it, it's not without the realms of possibility.

We currently have 30 points from 24 games, 7 points adrift, sitting in 9th place.
In 2015/16, we had 29 points from 27 games, 6 points adrift, sitting in 9th place

If we make up one point in St. Johnstone over the next three rounds of fixtures, we'll be in the same place we were after 27 games that season.

Mind you, we did make the top six that season after winning 6 of our last 8 pre-split games and relying on results going our way on the final pre-split weekend, but still.

Well, that and that we're a bigger club with more fans, so that'd probably have an effect as well.

Tbh, I'm not even confident, I'm just not arsed. Our season is over, so lets all just have a little dance, shall we?

Not having that we were lucky in Dundee either. They had one shot on target over the course of the game, and while we looked a little less threatening than we have since the county game, we had the best bits of play, and the best chances in the game. Had Dundee scored I've zero doubt we'd have upped our game accordingly.

Decent chance tonight, but f**k knows what St Mirren are atm.

I'm kind of in this mood - but given this minor run of wins against some of the off-form teams in the league has literally been the only entertaining thing that's happened this season, I'd like it to last a bit longer please.

I've got literally no thoughts of the top 6 as St Johnstone will pick up enough points to stay clear of us - I'm quite happy if we stick with the attacking line-up and get the young boys prepared for next season where they are going to be mainstays in the team.

If we score first tonight, I think we'll win - but that's as bold as I'm prepared to be...

It starts tonight.  It looks bad for us if we dont take all the points.

As long as we fight for every single ball, every 50/50 then so be it if we finish bottom.  As long as there's 100% dig and effort i think I'd be content with us getting our arses handed to us.

MON THE FUCKING BUDDIES...!

Wow just wow.

Sitting at LGW waiting for flight so miss tonight’s game.

I want us to keep up the momentum plus I have a cheeky wee wager with a Buddie at work. Ferrero Rocher at stake.

Next round of games are tough so would rather go in with a clean sweep of league wins since turn of the year.

Heart says a win head says a draw as St Mirren know they are running out of time......

HT 0-1

Usual shambles from us and fully deserve to be behind. That number 32 that scored has had our new left back Muzek on toast all night. On one of the several occasions he beat him he cut inside and smashed a belter in off the bar from 20 yards.

Tactical sub on about 20 minutes with a defender off for an attacking player and we did improve a wee bit. Even had some shots on goal but a familiar lack of fire power and composure meant none of them really troubled the keeper.

Dundee winning, Hamilton drawing, Pittodrie next league game for us... we really need something tonight.

First 20 minutes from Saints was the worst I’ve seen us playing in decades.

Well we’re excellent though still took a wonder strike to score.

OK makes a tactical change and suddenly Saints look different and had (and missed) the two best chances in the match in the next few minutes.

Been better since then but Well look really dangerous on the break.

Their 12 has been superb.

Sadly our new number 9 looks really poor. Hopefully a fitness or sharpness thing, because if this is representative of his best I doubt we’ll see much of him again.

If we get the next goal we might get something. Well score and it’s all over.
