HAMLISCH
Everyone seems to be fixated on players getting red cards these days.

Brown deserved his yellow took the player out bordering on a red. Johnson was a red studs up over the top challenge with pace looked bad in real time. Its hardly rocket science - having watched the match ; I agree with all the above (perhaps not the first, yellow for me but stunned that the p***k Thomson didnt stop the match immediately for a head injury). Brown was a Red, as was Johnson who received a yellow at the time. Also, Burke took a horrendous and very obvious dive in the box, attempt for a pen and get a fellow pro sent off. Compliance officer result? (no drumroll required, any non-Celtic fan knows the outcome) Johnson offered 2 match ban, nothing at all said about the others - the press also ignore this, no surprise there as they are so worried about upsetting Lawell. This is not about Hibs, its about the SFA compliance officer apparently ignoring Celtic players offences. Please dont ever come out with the bullshit about conspiracies against Celtic - as it is simply not true.

Another fan that hasn't got a scooby about the rules, Brown was dealt with during the game plus Burke dived but no penalty was giving so no retrospective action can be taken. The Burke point is true, but as we have repeatedly told you, if Johnson can get flagged up for his yellow card challenge, then why can't Brown? Or is the answer as simple as "because he's Scott Brown and he's Celtic's captain"?

So it only gets upgraded if the player gets injured? Nonesense. The Scott Brown challenge was knee high with his studs showing, which also looked like a red card at the game. French Eddie didn't continue in the final and McKenna got a 2 match ban later but every tackle is treated differently.

Romeo
Think you'll find the whole of Scottish football for years now, has had an interest in how scott brown is protected every single week I agreed with the 2 reds on wed night at aberdeen, but for mcgregor to be cited for his while brown was let away with exactly the same in the OF shows its a shambles of a system, How the SFA can potentially upgrade a yellow to a red for the hibs boy while allowing simunovic and brown off is brutal, Rangers fans who have had nothing but help from the footballing authorities for years complaining about other teams getting away with something? The very definition of minter.Dry your eyes.
