Superhursty7
Will be intresting to see two Scotland best goalkeeping prospects on Saturday we were heavily linked with McRorie all summer and ended up with Doohan who has been outstanding, buy the looks of it they two could be fighting out the Scotland No1 Jersey in a few years. AYRSHIRE_ANGUS
10 out of the last 15 seasons have been utter shite for Ayr fans. However in that time plenty of memories have been created after Airdrie, Brechin, Greg Fleming heroics v Stranraer and the hilarious Raith bottling from last season. You've got to get pumped by seaside teams to really appreciate the good moments!

This is true. We haven't started a "Great Feeling " thread yet though With regards to your form though, you don't lose many at home. Think it's only ourselves, Alloa and ICT have managed to beat you at Cappielow

Two keepers desperate to outdo each other, that does not bode well.

Season has been murder; objective is now to get through it without any lasting damage. As said above, a win here -- or at least a performance and a point -- would go a long way to reassuring us that Dunfermline, not us, are this year's candidates for the Yogi nose-dive... You would like to think so but the worry is with both Falkirk and Thistle improving, the 9th and 10th points total will probably be a lot higher than previous seasons. Certainly no whipping boy this season! Clyde finished bottom with 39 points in 2008-2009. Might not be that high this year but could be easily around 35/36 points . You might need around 40-42 points to avoid 9th. Just need to hope the new signings have a positive affect and we pick up at least 4/5 wins before the end of the season. If we don't pick up a decent points return in our next 4 games ( 3 at home) i can see us finishing bottom 2.

Agree that the time to make sure we're safe is now, not April... a couple of wins in those next three or four games would puncture any building pressure. Wouldn't back us in a need a result week-on-week scenario further down the line...
vikingTON
Any competent manager should be making a good run at 4th with some of the quality in our squad and the abysmal standard of the division this season. The more that people wet their knickers about a barely perceptible relegation threat, the lower the benchmark for success is set implicitly for this clown. The Ghost of B A R P
My knickers are dry, madam. If we fail to win any of the next three, they will still be dry. But the relegation threat will not be 'barely perceptible'. All people are saying is 'whole season is right here'. There's every possibility that either us or Dunfermline get dragged in; four points, minimum, required from the next three to make sure it isn't us. vikingTON
The season finished when TTGJ played five at the back against a pub team in the cup and lost.
rb123!
Any ideas why we don't actually have a match preview up for the game tomorrow. Would be nice to know who's available.

UpInTheAyr
United have scored 99 league goals at Cappielow. Have to get Shankland on first goalscorer for that, unless there's somebody else playing tomorrow with a particular dislike of Morton.
