Not really a surprise given the wages that are getting paid!

Please enlighten oh insightful one. How much (or are you another guesser)?

I forgot all those ex seniors sign for Hurlford because of their massive support and history.Guys leave clubs like Glenafton and Cumnock too and go to Hurlford for less money

It is well known hurlford r good payers both junior and the ams teams who r both funded by the same person. Use r not like talbot who run there club correctly in a way the medda didnt and nearly went out the game because of it.

Mon the papers
Good to know that someone from outside the club seems (thinks) to know how a club run their affairs

I was always told by Hurlford players that they didn't get wages but generous expenses, no idea what it is like now though.

Have always felt that the situation at Hurlford reminds me of this classic comedy moment.............

"So what first attracted you to big spending Hurlford......? :) "

What is it they say

You are never more than 6 foot away from a rat at any time and on P&B you are never more than 2 threads away from it descending into how much money a club spends on wages!!!

If Hurlford can bring in sponsorship to be able to pay more than other clubs then fair play to them. It’s up to everyone else to either try to do the same or show that money doesn’t ensure success.

Quite right superpollok, your club being the prime example that indeed money doesn’t ensure success  :-)

That was disappointing today, really we lost this tie last week when we couldn't see out the victory against ten men and let in a soft goal at the depth. Hard to be critical today as the pitch deteriorated badly right from the kick off and was verging on unplayable on the second half. This is not a slight on the Maryhill groundsman/staff as they are helping us out big time this season but conditions were poor. The same for both teams and Hurlford were better than us today. Think priority for next season has to be a new goalkeeper and a centre back with a bit of pace. Fitzpatrick going back to Clyde was a huge loss for us.

All the best to Hurlford in the semis. They are a very solid team with lots of experience, you can see why their record in this competition  has been so good the last couple of seasons.
