Based on the squad we've signed so far I can see us going with something like:

                                   Currie

MacDonald Fordyce Crighton McCann

                         McKay   Ritchie

                   O'Reilly Robert Carrick

                              Gallagher

This looks like an annoyingly decent team from the outside looking in. Love your defence. I think at this point in order to field a team of 11 we’d have to stick a goalie outfield.

Anyway, just wondering if there’s been any real insight into Robert yet? Are you lot training? Not sure how hybrid teams work re: furlough etc

Midfield still needs work as McKay and Ritchie are in there as the only options rather than as the best options. Can't imagine us fans will know much about Robert's ability until the pre-season friendlies and that's if the club have sorted out the plans to stream live games by then. The club recently announced that the squad would begin training on the 15th of August.

I'm really enjoying these type of signings. No idea if they're any good but much more interesting than signing someone from another League One team.

So far this summer we've signed players from Stranraer, Truro City, Hearts, St. Johnstone, Montpellier and SC Dnipro 1. Certainly a much more diverse list than usual...

Absolutely pissing myself at how large a network your scouting team must be. It's certainly more exiting than the usual league 1 jobbers folk sign.

Any jobs going in a foreign country for me?

I echo these sentiments. Also loving the madness of our current situation...

Reminds me of when I used to play Football Manager and you could bring in all sorts of good Polish players in for buttons. Robert Lewandowski being one of them. Will be interesting to see how he gets on.

Highlights reels are always going to be a bit one-sided and of course it's impossible (for me) to judge the level he's playing at there, but that was some pretty darned good close control, he's quick with the ball at his feet and he stood up to at least one heavy challenge there - which I jalouse he'll be doing a lot of in League One.

And here are his Ukranian Premier League highlights.  I won't pretend I'm familiar with the standard of football there, but what it's worth their league's UEFA co-efficient is 10, Scotland's is 14 which I think means we're a stick on to walk this league, looking - as has been said on this thread already - suave as all hell doing so.

He's only played 20 minutes in the Ukrainian Premier League, most of those highlights look like reserve games or whatever from the nick of the stadiums.

Lower half Premiership, top half Championship I would say. Since the Russian invasion and the fall of Metalist, Dnipro and the general mass influx of foreign players, it’s died a death.
