Yes I know all games will be off, but seriously just asking if clubs can just call games off themselves ?

Would leave it open to abuse in less testing conditions if so.

Unlikely - the league or away team can require an inspection.

Games can be called off the day before "in the event of extreme weather conditions or on the grounds of the health and safety of the players, officials or spectators being at risk".

How dare you suggest that the good people of the EOS league would stoop to such a tactic. You should be ashamed of yourself. :(

Thanks HJ

That makes a lot of sense.

Unless conditions are proving surprisingly mild in Cardenden, it looks like your only chance of a grass game tomorrow would be coastal conditions proving favourable at CSS or Dunbar.

Hopefully a new date will be announced for this game soon. I'd imagine either midweek or on Saturday 2nd March when teh next round is taking place and if we made it through stirling uni away in the next round

In what will likely rival Coldstream v Easthouses in the autumn for frustrating both clubs and sets of fans... the Dunbar pitch was passed playable by a referee late morning, but the match referee has called it off, although both sides wished to play.
