Well correctd
Things have been ever so slightly more exciting than I may have suggested

Haha not a correction at all mate, was in addition to your summary. Best business we done were the contract extensions.

Livingston have done some decent business bringing in experience with Erskine and Wylde.
However I personally feel that the lack of another striker means we are still light up top. And then sending out our only other striker on loan means we are lighter.
All in all though we kept our important first team players without barely any rumours that they would be going elsewhere so that's also a good positive.
8/10 for us.

We brought back Tiffoney so we aren't down anyone.

We didn't lose any first teamers and the only one to get punted was Saunders. All in all a pretty successful window for us

In:

Chris Erskine (Partick Thistle)
Gregg Wilde (Plymouth Argyle)
Hakeem Odoffin (Northampton Town)
Ciaron Brown (loan, Cardiff City)
Lyndon Dykes (Queen of the South)
Scott Tiffoney (return from loan)
Cammy Blues (return from loan)

Happy with who we've brought in, Erskine, Wilde and Tiffoney give us some extra attacking options. Odoffin and Brown give us extra cover at the back in case of injuries or suspensions with Odoffin also able to play the RWB position. We weren't the only team after Dykes so good for us to get that over the line. Imagine Blues will just be in the reserves for the remainder of the season.

Out:

Steven Saunders (Partick Thistle)
- Matthew Knox (loan, Berwick Rangers)
- Jack McMillan (loan, Partick Thistle)
- Nicky Cadden (loan, Ayr United)
- Henk van Schaik (loan, Dumbarton)
- Jack Hamilton (loan, Alloa Athletic)
- Lyndon Dykes (loan, Queen of the South)

Managed to hold onto all of our first team players. Got Saunders off the books nice and early, and Matthew Knox gets probably a last chance to really shine down in League 2. I'm a fan of McMillan, Cadden and Hamilton so happy to see them go out on loan to get some regular first team football. We've only seen van Schaik for about 5 minutes so looking forward to seeing how he gets on.

Considering we were expecting to lose a couple of our stand outs (Halkett, Byrne, Pittman) and there was a while we thought we might not get Hardie back, I think we can be happy with how the month's went. Only thing missing would be a natural striker for when we're struggling for goals but can't be too greedy.

Whats the deal with Knox? Did he not go down to Man United for a trial a few seasons back?

How come he hasn't really made any impact at Livi?

Hype was all made by his agent. Had trials with Man United, Tottenham, Everton, Liverpool, and Rangers. With the latter along with Nottingham Forest having bids knocked back.

He hasn't really impressed in the first team, at the age of 16 he looked like most other promising players: just needs a run of games to turn into a star. He had a loan spell at East Fife in L1 where he wasn't a first team regular.

You still see articles about him though, how he's still the next best thing etc, and without fail they always mention his trials and have pictures of him training in his *** gear, you'd be forgiven for thinking he actually played for them and was never near Livi. He apparently has an attitude problem (accompanied with telling everyone about his trials at Man Utd because he's amazing).

He's still only 18 so still has plenty of time but he doesn't seem to have developed at all and along with the supposed attitude problems, and the constant articles, I'd say Livi fans have just got bored of waiting for him to do something

tl;dr He might still get decent but the constant hype and no improvement has left Livi fans just wanting him gone
