Hibs have been utter horseshite, and we've done OK with half a team, but I feel that the missed penalty will turn the game.

For anyone not watching the rugby. Please do watch that game on Alba. It was a thoroughly enjoyable game.

Aberdeen at times played their best football of the season. Hibs contributed a lot in that second half without creating too much.

Great advert for our league.

Decent win for The Dons. Great game managment from the team.

Just hope it hasn't come at too high a cost with injuries to Lewis and Cosgrove.

Sounds pretty certain that Big Joe will be missing for the *** game.

Need to get Cerny some serious penalty practice ;)

Shinnie's best performance this season - he was absolutely brilliant. Hoban and Ferguson also excellent. Wilson was terrific in the second half, just a shame he missed two big chances to kill the game (whisper it, but he might be better suited to playing with Stewart than Cosgrove is, although early days). Mackay-Steven, despite a poor penalty, scoring the winner and showing glimpses that he will get back to his best. Lowe always a threat down the left side. Pity about Lewis' injury, but at least we had an experienced option in Cerny to call upon, and he looked unfazed in the second half.

I'm not only happy with the result, but thought there was plenty to like about our general play and approach, even if we were a bit open at times, especially in the first half. Just hoping the intensity of that game doesn't come back to bite on Wednesday, especially for the guys who are recently back from injury or haven't played much in recent months.

Not enough in that  Hibs midfield for me,  don't like Bartley and Milligan both starting, no sign of Horgan, very little penetration. or creativity. Defence not good enough but we've lost Efe and Porteous so that figures.  Marciano redeemed himself a bit with the pen save but bad mistake for Sheep second.

Thought that was a good game. Was fearing the worst after the penalty miss, particularly minus Lewis and Cosgrove, but Černý made a couple of good saves and we effectively weathered the twenty minutes or so where Hibs were on the front foot. Great chance for Wilson to wrap it up at the end but he must have missed by inches.

Horgan was pulled off injured against St Mirren so he might well have been medically unavailable, in true Hibs style.
