If he does win he wont do a dance to celebrate as he doesn't want to dance no more, stated this quite some time ago.

^^^ Rocking down to, Electric Avenue.

Im fairly certain Steve Clarke was knocked back for the job years ago so very much doubt he'd even want to be on the shortlist anyway  ?

Would you knock back a job with a better salary just because you had been overlooked previously for the position? That would be a bizarre grudge to hold.

Not that it's going to happen anyway.

He's due a move to England, either league one or the championship.

Absolutely deserves it. Consistent point scoring and the injury management of playing on a cadburys dairy milk tray every other week.

Would he be eligible to be Scotland manager? Don't really know anything about him other than he has been doing the business for Killie.

Not sure about Clarke, it's ok doing the business for Killie but when you come to a big club like Hibs the pressures are totally different. Agree that he could definitely be in the running for a mid-table League 1 club down south though.

The pressure at Hibs is different, trying to get the team into the top half of the league must be hard. Regarding Steve Clarke and doing the business at a big club I would suggest West Brom and even Reading are bigger clubs than Hibs. You should also remember he was assistant manager at Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle United and Aston Villa all bigger clubs than Hibs.

To end this , he won't be the manager of ANY OTHER  Scottish club.

They'll give it to Stubbs till the end of the season imo. If he does well (which will basically mean finishing at least 4th which looks an extremely long shot atm, or winning the Cup) the job will be his.

There's a structure in place at the club re signings where he's been generally shite elsewhere. He's obviously already got relationships with a lot of the players which is important if there have been dressing room problems.

I’m pretty sure he would take the Celtic job if offered mate, to be honest.

We were the first British club to play in a European competition m8. Easily makes us bigger than any club you’ve mentioned there.

To end this, if we want Clarke, we’ll take him.
