A statement of no relevance that suggests ‘if you’re no one of us then you’re one of them!’

The mask is slipping “Airdrie fan”.

So what area of Glasgow would you find my mask?

My understanding is the Celtic fans fought Robinson in Sunderland and also Celtic’s most famous ‘casual’ invited Robinson to his home in Scotland for a ‘chat’ ?
I don’t understand Celtic fans obsession with that clown.
What?

Given these tales and also supporting a similar level team, I'm shocked to have been the only Brechin fan put out on their arse outside of Celtic Park last year. Same section of the ground, same cup, same stage, same sized crowd. Winter football's a c*** for black ice.

Black Ice?

Is that a new drink?

Word associations can tell a lot about a person here.

Most people: a transparent layer of ice coating the road / pavement.

Airdrie fan: cheap vodka that comes in glass bottle form.

If fans are causing bother elsewhere it might have a knock on effect on your support in general. I was definitely less well disposed toward Ajax fans in general after a few of them ambushed people on the Gallowgate with weapons.

From a distance at the game I didn’t think of the Airdrie supporters as a mixed bunch, I just saw them as a big seething mass of British Nativists singing Rangers songs. This thread has certainly given me food for thought.

No I get that mate. However the timeline (easily pieced together using social media if you have a willingness to look) clearly shows Celtic supporters were chucking bottles at Airdrie supporters (families, not “casuals”) without the influence/knowledge of what was going on a mile away (which was not much by all accounts) given it was happening at roughly the same time.

And listen, my issue isn’t with like minded individuals having a wee catch up, my issue is with Celtic supporters clearly targeting a section of the Airdrie support that was made up of kids, women etc . It was clearly visible to all who was in there.

I also have an issue with the fact that there is a complete blanket approach of sweep it under the carpet amongst Celtic supporters. It happened and it was out of order so put your hands up  and accept it. Every team has an element. The holier than not attitude you always default to is embarrassing. For instance (eg) Celtic fans challenging a parent with a disabled child on twitter to show them evidence of the bother is quite frankly shameful. Genuinely step back and have a think about what you’re club claims to be. Then try sort it out so you can achieve that.

Now the dust has settled....what a laugh this whole escapade has been.

Celtic fans are fucking hilarious. There's footage all over the internet showing them launching bricks and bottles at the Airdrie supporters, yet they try and tell us we're scum. They had about 50-60 masked spice boys, all about 7 stone soaking wet, who managed to keep the police honest as Airdrie fans tried to get into the ground. All the time firing stones, cans and bottles indiscriminately into the sky. There's plenty denials that this happened,  but it did - it's filmed and documented. But we're scum.

At the game, one specky weirdo mouthed the letters of a well known terrorist organisation, while pretending he'd a rifle taking pot shots into our crowd. But we're scum.

Celtic fan runs on at the end attempting to attack one of our players, before being absolutely body slammed by a steward. But we're scum.

The reason we were held at the end was nothing to do with us not being trusted, it was the fact that our supporters were attacked on London Road and we were kept in to prevent that happening again, as the police clearly had a howler.

These things happen at football games. Part and parcel of going to places like this, but the denial and sweeping from Celtic is fantasy stuff. They managed to start a rumour that Tommy Robinson would be at the game. They got pretty much every decision going yesterday but the world is still against them and the place run by "h*ns". Ive been offered to meet two of the faceless weirdos on twitter.

They really are the gift that keeps giving.

^^^^^ Scum imo.
