I think there would of been the same moves made. Keep in mind the Lowland League never really pushed Selkirk too hard.

As I posted elsewhere last night the cynic in me thinks the licensing committee are waiting on the green or should I say flood light from Bonnyrigg which is just a matter of time. :P

That way ALL 3 conference champions will be eligible for the LL.

The SFA Board will have made their decision on Thursday. I reckon they posted their response rather than emailing, so you're waiting on the post during a holiday weekend.

It will be by email from the Licence Dept it seems, so probably Tuesday.

I agree that WW should only go down if Cove is promoted.

The way things stand Ross if Cove win the play off you will go down with us  ? Personally don't think that's right  either ?

Sorry Newky your wrong. There is no permutation that will see Star relegated. Also WW aren't relegated either. If there is no licenced club to come up from the east WW survive.

No need to be sorry but if ww are bottom club then the Star are 2nd bottom therefore trap door opens to let either Albion Rovers or Berwick Rangers in  ? The 3 clubs fighting it out in the East will be licensed that's for sure  ?

Edit: Totally confused now

I'm well aware of that but if the constitution states bottom club surely 2nd bottom is in trouble as well or was that no picked up on at the meeting earlier this season when it was decided whoever finished last were bottom club  ?

I've fought all season that Selkirk were bottom but obviously told countless times aboot bottom club.

What does it actually say about 2nd bottom in the rules then  ?

They're 2nd bottom if ww are officially bottom all I'm asking is what is the ruling for 2nd bottom ?

If that has no impact then theres surely a case for ww staying up (subject to Cove losing play off)  ? Al accept it and go down if Cove win the play off  ?

Your club are represented at the forefront of the LL now surely this must have been discussed  at LL meetings  ?

Newky unless a licenced club wins the EOS play offs WW will not go down. Depending on what happens at the top HL, LL, SPFL play offs, the league will either be restored to 16 teams or the league will pick from applications to make the league back up to 16 teams. As I said earlier there is no permutation that will see Star relegated.

That then reads that Selkirk were officially relegated from the 16 team league with ww 2nd bottom then  ?

I've been told for months now that 15th place was bottom club  ?

If Berwick are relegated and Cove promoted then Dalbeattie would be relegated.

Wrong. The league would be restored to 16 so why would Star be relegated?

The same reason WW are going to be relegated assuming the EOS champion is licensed. Relegating WW leaves the league with 15 teams with the 16th place being decided on application.

The Lowland league couldn't change the rules after Selkirk went bust.

If Berwick are relegated and Cove go up then Dalbeattie are relegated leaving the Lowland with 15 teams with the 16th place being decided on application.
